As WMR has reported in past articles, the National Security Agency (NSA) has maintained a series of "mug shots" of journalists it suspects have sources inside the NSA. Often, NSA personnel thought to have been speaking to journalists are called into NSA's "Q" security group and questioned on whether they have spoken to various journalists. Along with the names of the journalists, are photographs, described by NSA insiders, as "mug shots," likely culled from the Internet.

WMR previously reported on NSA's "rogue gallery" of journalists. From WMR, July 3, 2009: "Since the revelation of the NSA journalist monitoring database, which later added communications intercepts of journalist phone calls, emails, and faxes to its database, NSA Security has, according to information received by WMR, conducted physical surveillance of journalists it deems to be threats to the operations of the agency. The top targeted journalists, who make up a virtual 'rogues' gallery' at NSA Security, complete with photographs and other personal information, are: former Baltimore Sun and current Wall Street Journal reporter Siobhan Gorman, Washington Times reporter Bill Gertz, former Baltimore Sun and current New York Times reporter Scott Shane, Baltimore Sun reporter Phil McGowan, author James Bamford, New York Times reporters James Risen and Eric Lichtblau, and this editor, Wayne Madsen."

WMR has now learned from NSA sources that NSA and FBI counter-intelligence branches are maintaining "mug shots" of journalists. Two to three pages of journalists, along with their photographs, are known to be in the possession of FBI counter-intelligence agent Laura Pino and NSA counter-intelligence officer Ethan Andreas. Each page has two rows of photographs across with four photographs and names of journalists on each row -- a total of eight photographs and names per page. The number of journalists on the pages, therefore, could be between 16 and 24.

Three names are known to be on the pages maintained by the FBI and NSA, according to our sources: Siobhan Gorman, James Bamford, and this editor, Wayne Madsen. Gorman was believed to have been the journalist former NSA official Tom Drake was in contact with before he was criminally charged under various counts, including the Espionage Act. Drake was a witness to high-level contract fraud and corruption within the NSA. WMR submitted a Freedom of Information Act request to NSA two years ago requesting information on the editor's photograph being used as a security warning device. After being granted expedited processing by NSA as news media for purposes of the FOIA request, NSA reversed course, denying us media status and then stonewalled responding to the request....

More high-level fraud at NSA uncovered....

WMR's sources at the National Security Agency (NSA) have reported more high-level fraud at the agency that now combines signals intelligence and cyber-warfare functions under one officer, Army General Keith Alexander, the NSA director and commander of the U.S. Cyber Command.

When Alexander's predecessor at NSA, Air Force General Michael Hayden, was shopping for his own replacement, Alexander was the Deputy Chief of Staff for G-2 for the U.S. Army. Alexander would only take the job, according to our sources who were embedded in the Director of NSA's office, if Dr. James Heath became the senior science adviser to Alexander at NSA.

There was only one problem. Heath had his own company, Object Sciences Corporation, a firm which was intimately involved with tracking "Al-Qaeda" operatives prior to the 9/11 attacks. Object Sciences provided deep data mining services to the Army's Land Information Warfare Agency's and Defense Intelligence Agency's ABLE DANGER and its affiliated DORHAWK GALLEY data mining programs.

At the same time, Hayden had shown favoritism to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in awarding the firm, as prime contractor, the over one billion dollar signals intelligence overhaul program known as TRAILBLAZER. Hayden hired William Black, a former NSA official who had retired and went to work for SAIC, as his Deputy Director at NSA. The issue with Heath was solved when SAIC purchased Object Sciences, providing a handsome profit to Heath prior to his taking the science adviser position under his friend Alexander. Black eventually returned to SAIC from his stint as NSA deputy director.

The following press release was issued on May 12, 2005:

"Science Applications International Corp. has completed its acquisition of Object Sciences Corp., the company announced today. Terms of the deal were not disclosed . . .

OSC's involvement in reshaping how intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance information is processed and analyzed has provided critical assistance to combat forces in specific theaters, such as Iraq and Korea, as well as the war on global terrorism in general, SAIC said."

Alexander took over as NSA director on August 1, 2005, a few months after the SAIC-OSC deal. Heath then became Alexander's chief science adviser.

Another former SAIC principal who, like Black, transitioned from SAIC to NSA and back again to SAIC was Sam Visner. After joining NSA from SAIC, Visner was the senior acquisition manager for NSA and was key to the award of the TRAILBLAZER contract to SAIC. A less expensive signals intelligence re-engineering solution code-named THIN THREAD, was rejected by NSA in favor of the TRAILBLAZER, which was later canceled after SAIC pocketed hundreds of millions of dollars.

Hayden went on to become the first deputy Director of National Intelligence and, ultimately, the CIA director. He now works with former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff at Chertoff Group. His pet project, TRAILBLAZER, was canceled due to cost overruns and failed deliveries and was replaced by another reported contractor boondoggle called TURBULENCE. A number of senior NSA, Justice Department, and congressional officials were harassed and one, Thomas Drake, prosecuted for revealing the corruption. Those coming under NSA and FBI scrutiny, all subjected to harassment and threat of prosecution, included, in addition to Drake, Justice Department prosecutor Thomas Tamm, House Intelligence Committee budget specialist Diane Roark, NSA officials William Binney, Kirk Wiebe, and Ed Loomis, and others, never mentioned in press accounts, who were interviewed by WMR.

One former NSA official who was terminated and then placed under NSA Security and FBI surveillance after reporting through proper channels fraud, waste, and abuse with TRAILBLAZER and associated contracts, told WMR, "we are not whistleblowers but witnesses to major crimes committed by NSA and contractors."

Among the spin-offs of TRAILBLAZER was the unconstitutional STELLAR WIND program that permitted NSA to engage in wholesale warrantless wiretapping of phone calls, emails, and faxes, particularly journalists and elected political leaders.

Hayden, who has become a national security adviser to Mitt Romney and would be assured a top-level job in a Romney administration, perhaps National Security Adviser, is also involved with a subscription web service called LIGNet, or "Langley Intelligence Group Network" as a "LIGNet adviser." WMR has been told by intelligence community insiders that LIGNet is an operational security (OPSEC) problem because a wealth of borderline classified information appears on the web site.

Some of the LIGNet information makes what was released in the WikiLeaks Department of State cable release pale in comparison. As for charges that Private First Class Bradley Manning was responsible for downloading over a quarter million classified cables from the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), a former senior NSA official told WMR: "That is impossible.... All SIPRNet drives are non-writable for CDs and as far as thumb drives are concerned, install one and security alarms are immediately set off."

أوغلو: دعوة "الآخر" إلى الاستسلام

يتصرف وزير الخارجية التركي أحمد داوود أوغلو بطريقة توحي بثقته التامّة بمآلات الأزمة السورية. فيما هو، فعلياً، مهتم بأمور أخرى. لا ينظر الرجل الى المرحلة العربية الراهنة على أنها مرحلة تبدل سياسي فحسب، بل يهتم أيضاً بأن يشرح، لمن يهمه الأمر، أن ما يجري في العالم العربي، الآن، هو نهوض للجماعة الإسلامية الأقرب الى عقله، والى فكرة الدولة الإسلامية التاريخية. ويسعى الى إضفاء صورة عصرية على الحركات الإسلامية الجديدة، من خلال تمييزها عن تلك الجهادية التي قامت خلال العقود الأخيرة، والتي تعارضها جماعة الإخوان المسلمين في تركيا.
في مصر ودول المغرب العربي، يتصرف الوزير التركي وكأنّ النفوذ السياسي لبعض الحكومات العربية والغربية أمر عابر يرتبط بلحظة الثورة، ولا علاقة له بالأساس النظري والعقائدي. وهو، هنا، لا يبدي خشية حقيقية من الدور الخليجي، ولا يفرّق كثيراً بين الحركتين القطرية والسعودية، وينتبه الى تمايز سببه تنافس سياسي، لكنه يرى في الفريقين وجهاً واحداً لنظرية سياسية ــــ فكرية تعارضها تركيا، كما الإخوان المسلمون. وهو يخشى، بعض الشيء، من ذهاب السعودية وقطر، ومعهما جماعات نافذة في الكويت والإمارات العربية، نحو مغامرة تبنّي الجماعات السلفية، التي تفتقد، بحسب الإخوان، أساساً نظرياً قوياً يمكّنها من قيادة العالم الإسلامي.
وفق هذا المنظور، يتصرف أوغلو على أساس أن الوضع في سوريا مقبل على تغيير، الآن أو بعد سنة أو بعد سنوات قليلة، وعلى أساس أن النظام في دمشق آيل الى السقوط لا محالة. طبعاً، يحاول المنظّر التركي رفع معنويات أنصاره والجهات المستعجلة سقوط النظام في سوريا، لكنه يريد من هذه الجماعات أن تقف في صف انتظار تغييرات ستعصف بالمنطقة ككل، مع رغبته في حث الجميع على انضواء طوعي في فكرته الإقليمية التي تقوم على أن الغالبية الإسلامية السنية مستعدة الآن، وهي في مرحلة النمو، لعقد تسوية مع الأقلية الشيعية القوية في الإقليم. وهو يجهد لأن تكون الصفقة مع إيران أساساً، لتُمكّنه من التعامل بهدوء مع سوريا ولبنان وفلسطين.
المسألة، هنا، تتجاوز الكلام عن الوقائع السياسية المباشرة. صحيح أن تركيا تأمل وتسعى وتعمل، سياسياً وعسكرياً وأمنياً واقتصادياً وإعلامياً، على إسقاط حكم الرئيس بشار الأسد، إلا أنها تعرف جيداً أن الوقائع على الأرض لا تتصل بالرغبات فقط.
وبما أن الرائج أن أوغلو هو العقل الفكري لحزب الإخوان الحاكم في تركيا، فإن ذلك يساعد الرجل على القول صراحةً، حيث يمكنه، وبدبلوماسية المثقف، حيث يضطر، إن على العرب والمسلمين، الى أي دين أو مذهب فكري أو سياسي انتموا، التعايش مع فكرة أن التيار الإسلامي السني هو الذي يقود حركة التاريخ اليوم في العالمين العربي والإسلامي. ويدعو الآخرين، ممن هم خارج هذا التيار، الى عدم المعاندة، والى قبول هذه الواقعة التاريخية، ليكون هناك مجال لصفقة يقودها التيار نفسه، ويقدم فيها ضمانات تتيح للآخرين البقاء والعيش في هذا البقعة من الأرض.
طبعاً، ليس في يد أوغلو ما يقدمه سوى مبدأ المواطنة القائم في تركيا، حيث يعتقد كثيرون أن الدولة نجحت في تثبيت قواعد حياة اجتماعية وعلاقات بين الدولة والمواطن، تسمح بتعددية مقبولة، وبحريّات تتيح تفاعلاً سياسياً وفكرياً واجتماعياً. هذا في الحد الأقصى، لكن أوغلو لا يمكنه الإفراط في التفاؤل حيال قدرة المجتمعات العربية الممزقة على إنتاج صيغة مشابهة، سواء في بلدان كبرى كمصر أو سوريا أو السعودية أو العراق، أو حتى في دول صغيرة وغنية مثل إمارات الخليج العربية، بل أكثر من ذلك، هو يعرف، إلا إذا كان يعاني غشاوة، أن الدول ذات التعددية الدينية والطائفية، وحتى الثقافية، والتاريخ المقبول من التعددية والحريات، مثل لبنان، تواجه تحديات غير مسبوقة على صعيد التعايش. وفي لبنان يمكن مراقبة المشهد بقوة، علماً أن دولة صغرى مثل تونس، حيث توجد تعددية سياسية حقيقية، تعاني اليوم عوارض الانتقال من دولة بنظام مستبد الى دولة بنظام وتعددي.
الأمر الآخر الذي يتجاهله أوغلو يتصل بالقضايا الرئيسية التي تهم شعوب المنطقة. صحيح أن الثورات والانتفاضات دلت، بقوة، على التعطش الى حرية فردية وعيش كريم، لكنها أشارت، بقوة أيضاً، إلى أن مكمن الخطر هو في تبعية الحكومات للغرب الاستعماري، المهتم ببقاء إسرائيل وأمنها. ويعرف أوغلو أن التطور الأكثر قوة، خلال العقود الثلاثة الماضية، يكمن أيضاً في كون حركة المقاومة الناجحة في لبنان وفلسطين، كما في العراق، تعكس أهمية الموقف العملاني من إسرائيل، ولا تقف عند مكتسبات لفظية مؤقتة سرعان ما تنهار في وجدان الشعوب، كما هو وضع تركيا في حالة المواجهة مع إسرائيل.
يعني ذلك، ببساطة، أنه إذا كان الوزير التركي يعتقد بأن في إمكانه إغراء العالم العربي بنموذج مدني، أو أكثر تطوراً من الحكم الإسلامي، كما هو قائم في تركيا اليوم، فإنه يتجاهل، لسبب غير معروف، العنصر الأكثر حيوية المتعلق بالهوية الوطنية للعرب والمسلمين، وهو التحرر من الغرب الاستعماري، والتخلص من أداته المباشرة في منطقتنا، وهي اسرائيل.
وبالتالي، إذا كان أوغلو يعتقد أن في إمكانه استخدام الثورات العربية، ونجاحات التيار الإسلامي، لدعوة الآخرين الى قبول واقع سياسي جديد، يكون واهماً. لأن الخطوة الأولى التي تعطي شرعية أخلاقية وسياسية، وحتى دينية، لأي موقف تريده تركيا اليوم، رهن قرار بسيط، بأن تعلن أنقرة رفضها وجود إسرائيل، وتقطع علاقاتها معها، وتعيد رسم علاقاتها مع الغرب الاستعماري وفق هذه السياسة، وإذا لم تكن قادرة على ذلك، فهي غير قادرة على تصور تغييرات، إلا إذا قررت اعتماد النظرية التي ترى الى أوغلو مثقفاً نظرياً جيداً، لكنه سياسي عملي فاشل

Argentina: Targeted by the crooked Zioconned World powers – Danger over ‘Patagonia’....

Patagonia is the name of the southernmost region of Argentina comprising the provinces of Río Negro, Neuquén, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, together with their Chilean counterpart regions on the Pacific Ocean side of the Andes Mountains. This article highlights the growing signs that this South American Region has been targeted by the Global Power Elite and will be lost by both Argentina and Chile. The Elite plan, in fact, can be traced back to over a century ago. No surprise when you consider that Patagonia has incalculable wealth – oil, gas, minerals, food, water, fish, grains, cattle…

1) THE CONTEXT

· Since the end of World War II, most of the world has come under the indirect control of a veritable World Government which, although not legally binding, does anyway have the power of enforcing and imposing its objectives and interests all over the world. The key factor to be highlighted is that the world has gone through a far-reaching privatization of Real Power where the Global Power Elite (GPE) has (re)organized itself increasingly around small but extremely powerful structures that enable it to wield its power, influence and leverage over the entire planet. In fact, the greatest challenge we must all deal with in every country and region, is the fact that very small usurping minorities wield gigantic power over the vast majority of us in finance, the economy, politics, academia & the media (i.e., PsyWar) and in the social, technological and military spheres.

· The GPE have, through the decades, achieved this thanks to what the “Report from Iron Mountain” (a Hudson Institute think tank report purportedly prepared for the Pentagon in 1967 when Lyndon Johnson was president and Robert McNamara secretary of defense), aptly described as a global “War System”. I.e. we all live under a political, economic, financial and media military-industrial system that imposes perpetual war over the entire planet, which they believe is fundamental and necessary to ensure the “correct” management of financial flows, economic growth, social behavior, political dialectic, exploitation of resources and many other factors that will promote and achieve the GPE’s medium and long terms plans and objectives. This highly authoritarian, vertical and pyramid structured power system, created an increasingly strong, consistent and effective structure made up of a network of interlocking and interfacing think tanks (i.e., geopolitical planning centers), where the top of the pyramid is controlled by entities like the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg Group, World Economic Forum, World Jewish Congress, AIPAC (American Israeli Public Affairs Committee), and others. In Argentina, their local counterparts or subsidiaries include the CARI (Consejo Argentino para las Relaciones Internacionales), the Americas Society (which operates the Latin American network for the CFR in New York City), and very powerful local Zionist militant entities, AMIA (Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina) and DAIA (Delegación de Asociaciones Israelitas Argentinas), amongst others.

· Today, our world is immersed in a highly complex, violent and volatile transition which is dragging mankind from the stage of so-called “Globalization” (i.e., an unofficial World Government), towards an increasingly legally-binding and coercive World Government. Naturally, this is being increasingly imposed on global public opinion using sophisticated, powerful (and very expensive!!) Psychological Warfare techniques, that are bent on convincing us all that World Government is “good” for us. That it will protect “mankind”, promote “democracy”, “human rights” and “progress”, whilst it ensures “peace” and “protection” from all the bad guys out there that “hate us”, because we have “democracy”, “human rights”… well, you know the rest…

· All of this Newspeak covers up the fact that World Government is being imposed upon us by the GPE to protect and promote the interests of a usurping, authoritarian violent, illegitimate and regressive minority over the vast majority of us. · Whilst I write from Argentina and will now describe a rather specific Argentine problem referring to implicit threats upon our territory, the mechanisms described herein have their counterparts in just about every other country in the world. If World Government is coming, then we all need to be alert because, although it is a truism, Argentina – as every other country – is on this planet, so we had better start understanding what the true consequences of a legally enforceable and extremely power World Government mean for every country in the world.

· Let’s continue with the case of Argentina, We have a population of around 40 million people, however our territory is at least five times larger than, for example, that of France with a population of 65 million people. The time will surely come from the Global Power Elite will send us the clear message from the power capitals – Washington, New York or London – saying that we have “too much” territory, and that we must accept “a more balanced reallocation” of it (naturally, in the name of “Mankind”, “peace” and “democracy”). What will we tell them? And if the Argentine people were to grasp that the GPE’s plans are not good for our own interests and our own future, what will we be able to do to stop them when they decide to come down upon us?

· In the case of Argentina, as with many other countries in Latin America and in other continents, successive cowardly and treacherous governments over the past thirty or forty years have left us all but defenseless. The catastrophic policies of so-called “democratic” governments since 1983 to date, have not only destroyed our military capabilities but, what is much worse, through PsyWar perpetrated by the mainstream media that is in their hands and our eroded educational systems, they have confused and weakened our people’s national, cultural and territorial awareness; and eroded our traditional values, especially amongst the younger generations. The people responsible for this are the very ones whose political careers and campaigns are systematically and lavishly financed with the GPE’s money, and in our country, are symbolized by the successive presidencies of Raúl Alfonsín (1983-89), Carlos Menem (1989-99), Fernando de la Rúa (1999-2001), Eduardo Duhalde (2002-2003) and very especially Néstor Kirchner (2003-2007) and now his wife Cristina Kirchner (2007 to date).

· As a result, today Argentina is no longer an independent nation. Countries are sovereign and independent because of their own decision and will, to remain free and independent. However, if today Argentina has not been not invaded or come under the total control of the GPE, it is only because they – the Global Power Elite – have decided that the time for imposing full control over us has not yet come, and not because we defend and guarantee our own Sovereignty. The day the GPE decides to “do something different” with Argentina, there will be absolutely nothing that we can do to stop them…

2) ARGENTINA’S TERRITORIAL SOVEREIGNTY IS IN DANGER

· Argentina has gigantic natural resources and enormous, incalculable material wealth. In economic terms, how much is Argentina “worth”? That is incalculable! And in geopolitical, social and political terms? Unimaginable… Its physical beauty – snow capped mountains, enormous pampa grasslands, thousands and thousands of kilometers of coastlines and beaches, waterfalls, rivers, canyons…

· Argentina is very much like a pretty 18 year old girl. Very attractive and there are many roaming wolves around her. As good parents, “We, the People” of Argentina would definitely do very well to watch over her and protect her!

· Argentina could easily be the home to 140 even 240 million people, and yet-.. we are only 40 million Argentine Citizens (mind you, this represents only 0.7% of global population, and yet we have the sixth largest territory on the planet). One would imagine that with so much wealth and such a small population, Argentines should be living like kings!! Not so: over 50% of our population languishes in extreme poverty, in material terms. And in cultural and spiritual terms, we are even more impoverished! A sure sign of how well the GPE’s Geopolitical and Social Engineering Plan works to keep our country on our knees, biting the dust thanks to the crimes and mismanagement of the Money Power Elite’s favourite local politicians, who act as managers for the New Work Order…

· Clearly, this is no coincidence. This is being engineered since many decades ago. Argentina must be kept under-populated and demographically unbalanced. For example: one third of our total population lives in the city of Buenos Aires and its sprawling suburbs; whilst 80% of Argentines live in the ten largest cities: Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, Tucumán, Mendoza, La Plata, Santa Fe, Mar del Plata, Salta and San Juan…

· The Southern Patagonia Region, however, is all but uninhabited: less than 1 inhabitant per square kilometer (“uninhabited” according to the UN). Today, the five Argentine provinces in Patagonia – Río Negro, Neuquén, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego – have a combined population of 1.600.000 people, whilst the small but densely populated and mostly poor Buenos Aires suburban county of La Matanza, has a population of…1.,600.000 inhabitants! So, a tiny dot on the map of Argentina – La Matanza county – has the same population as all of Patagonia! · This process is fully backed by constant Psychological Warfare emanating from the local and international mainstream media in the GPE’s power, coupled with the degradation and dumbing down of our educational system on all matters pertaining to political, historical, social, economic and financial issues and affairs. In this way, they have imposed a catastrophic generalized lack of proper awareness and understanding among the population. With time, this will enable them to take over huge chunks of our territory without even having to fire a single shot, and getting it just as they want it: unoccupied and free of trespassers, where the “trespassers” are the We, the Argentine People ourselves. To manage that territory to their own best interest, they need no more than a small group of locals – say, 2 or 3 million well trained and specialized local Argentine managers to run their affairs efficient and loyally. The remaining 37 million Argentines are nothing more than “useless eaters”, to be disposed of within the scope of the Global Depopulation Agenda When you understand this plan, it then becomes clear why Argentine politicians and the local media recently IMPOSED on us their so-called “Gay Marriage Law” (I call it the “Sodomah Law”, referencing it toe to Sodomah and Gomorrah: perversion on a biblical scale), as well as the soon to come pro-abortion law. Both clearly AID depopulation in an already depopulated country…

3) DIVIDE AND RULE: A TIME LINE –

· 1776: A key year in the History of the Americas and of the World

· 4th July – The 13 Original Colonies of North America declared their independence from what was then the most powerful empire: England. A truly heroic undertaking. North Americas fought and won and, since then, grew and grew to become today’s 50 states and a planetary hegemon.

· 1st August – Spanish King Charles III created the Viceroyalty of the River Plate, a gigantic geopolitical entity spanning the from the Atlantic to the Pacific oceans, that included all of present-day Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, and parts of Chile and Brazil, all centered on Buenos Aires. But contrary to what occurred in North America, down here since 1776 we broke up into pieces becoming a mere handful of weak, inconsistent so-called “independent” countries, falling under the aegis of Britain and later the US. Argentina’s final map even took the shape of T-Bone steak, something very much to the liking of 19^thand 20^th Century British meat packers…

· Two “coincidences”:

1. 2nd March 1776 – Adam Smith published “An Inquiry into the Wealth of Nations”, liberal capitalism’s Bible since then

2. 1st May 1776 – Adam Weishaupt, a mysterious almost mythical character, founded the Masonic Lodge of the Illuminati of Baviera, in line with the Gran Orient Lodge that merged in London some years earlier, thus consolidating growing power of political freemasonry.

· The GPE’s Interest in our part of the World has always been centered on Argentina. Then, at the end of the 19^th century, International Zionism made its appearance, becoming a key factor

· International Zionism – Since its founding by the Russian Jew León Pinsker (whose main writing was “Self-Emancipation”) and Viennese lawyer Theodor Herzl, these founding fathers of Zionism thought in terms of creating TWO Jewish States: one in Palestine (finally imposed by force in 1948 by Zionist terrorist groups, notably Irgun Zvai Leumi, Stern Gang and Hagganah, with the support and abetment of the United States, Britain and the Soviet Union), and the other in Argentina. Pinsker called the former the “ideal State” (i.e., in Palestine which they claimed as a Jewish homeland), and the latter as the “practical state” (i.e., in Argentina). In his seminal book founding the militant International Zionist Movement, called “The Jewish State”, (published in 1896), Herzl wrote a chapter that carries the eloquent title of “¿Palestine or Argentine?” in which he says (the highlighting is ours), “Which shall we choose, Palestine or Argentine?…Argentina is, by its nature, one of the richest countries in Earth, with an immense territory, scarce population and moderate climate. The Argentine Republic would have the greatest Interest to cede to us a part of its territory. The infiltration of Jews that is presently taking place these has not been to their liking, naturally, and we will have to explain to Argentina the radical difference that exists with the new Jewish emigration.” Clearly, we are confronted with a plan reaching back many, many years, that is being engineering with patience, diligently, with a sense of opportunism, flexibility and astutely. It is supported by the ignorance and help of the worst elements in Argentine society (i.e., our so-called “political class”), who to this very day systematically have in their grip the key political, economic, media, educational and financial reins of this country, which they wield aligned to the interests of the GPE, which means against the interests of the Argentine people.

· But that was all back in 1896… So, let’s fast-forward to our present-day. In 2002, when Argentina was in the midst of its worst banking, financial and currency collapse that dragged our country to a veritable social war that had exploded in December 2001 with the default on the public debt, the influential New York Times, published an extensive article on 27th August 2002 with the title “Some in Argentina see Secession as the Sole Solution to the Problem of its Foreign Debt”. In it, they proposed that Argentina pay its foreign debt by ceding the Patagonia. A few weeks later on 2rd September 2002, “Newsweek” echoed the same idea (both publications are run and controlled by Zionist elements from the CFR, Trilateral Commission and other GPE entities). The idea thus started sounding explicitly that secession and territorial break up were possible options for our country.

· Strange visits… We will mention only in passing that for many years there have been strong and insistent rumours that in March 1969, New York Rabbi Nahum Gordon allegedly visited Buenos Aires to brief local Zionist militants on the need to break Argentina up, in line with Zionist interests. Whilst there is no supporting evidence or documentation supporting this – which has since become known as the “Andinia Plan”, “Andinia” being a hypothetical future country to be sliced out of Argentina’s Patagonia (and Chile’s, as well…) and Andes Mountains territories, it does uncannily tie in with all of what we describe herein.

· 5th January 1986 – The traditional, prestigious and conservative Buenos Aires daily newspaper “La Nación” published an article, “Studies are Underway for the Settlement of a Jewish Colony in the Province of Santa Cruz”, The article literally said: “Alberto Levy, a spokesman for the Israelis carrying out a survey in the area, stated that ‘this is a project we have carefully nourished for a long time and counts with the support of the Argentine authorities’. As has occurred since a number of years, El Calafate – the main tourist town in the region – this season received hundreds of Jewish “mochileros” (i.e., young backpackers and hikers) which in their own words are carrying out a survey, studying the local climate, vegetation and animals, and the potential wealth of the area. According to local townspeople in the area and the mochileros themselves, this survey was concluded with favourable results for such a settlement.”

· 27the May 1987 – Our of the blue, then president Raul Alfonsín proposed – and Argentine Congress obliged and sanctioned Law No. 23.512 which declared Argentina’s New Capital City to be relocated toViedma/Carmen de Patagones in Patagonia. This installed the idea of Argentina having two capitals – present day Buenos Aires and future Viedma. Though never actually carried out, the law is still in force and can be reactivated at any time. Surprisingly, before his “out of the blue” plant, Alfonsin has allegedly met with Zbigniew brzezinski in the Patagonian city of Bariloche… Mucho more recently, former president Nestor Kirchner (husband of present president Cristina Kirchner) declared on 29th September 2010 in a speech in New York City that he had supported the removal of our Capital to Viedma back in 1987 when he was mayor of the city of Rio Gallegos (provincial capital of Santa Cruz) and would consider reactivating the whole proposal.

· 18the March 2002, Finance Buenos Aires newspaper “El Cronista Comercial” (page 12) published an article called “Debt for territory” which described the proposal from a US consultant to then president Eduardo Duhalde of swapping public debt for government land, adding that “the idea would be to transform our public debt default into direct equity investment in which creditors can become land owners where they can development industrial, agricultural and real estate projects. In this way, the public debts would be reduced and the economy reactivated. There could be surprising candidates for this idea: during the Alfonsin Administration, the Japanese studied an investment master plan in Argentine land in order to promote emigration. The proposal was also considered in Israel.” Only a few months later, the New York Times article referred to above was published. A local consultancy in turn, Giacobbe y Asociados, reported that they were carrying out a survey in Patagonian Province of Chubut and other provinces, for an alleged European Multinational Company which contained however questions that were suspiciously unrelated to the economy and local markets and were more of a geopolitical nature, such as: “Would you agree that Argentine should give up its rights over territories in Antarctica in order to fully cancel our foreign debt? Would you agree in ceding government lands in Chubut to pay for the provincial public debt? Would you agree that the provinces of Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego should merge into one sole Province or region? What is your position on the proposal that Argentina’s economy should be managed by an officer from the IMF or some other international entity? Considering the dire situation that reigns in Argentina, do you want to leave the country?”

· 29the September 2003 – A media scandal breaks out, driven by the local militant Zionist organization and pro-Israel lobby DAIA (Delegación de Asociaciones Israelitas Argentinas) over alleged declarations by the then Argentine Army Chief of the General Staff General. Roberto Bendini made during a presentation at the Argentine Army War School pointing to the danger in Patagonia posed by the exceptional interest shown by Israeli groups in the region. The hysterical reaction of the local mainstream media and their well-paid journalists and analysts aligned to the GPE and of course from the DAIA itself. Nevertheless, the local newspaper “La Nacion” (30-Sept-03 – highlights are our) explained that “there is no doubt that there are Israelis all over the Patagonia. They move around in groups, they are young, speak in Hebrew amongst themselves. For greater information, we can say that a good number of them come from the military. They have just taken off their Israeli Army uniforms, although their plans to visit Volcano Lanín and visit Lake Argentina and eventually travel through the whole country over to Puerto Madryn have not, in principle, been approved by (then Israeli prime minister) Ariel Sharon… but rather by a local tourist guide: they are twenty-something year old youths, who take their vacations after leaving the Israeli Army and before going to college.”

· 3rd July 2005 – Again, the Buenos Aires daily, “La Nación” in its Sunday edition published a notable article (Section 7, “Enfoques”, page 6) under the title “Eduardo Elsztain: the Owner of the Land”. Mr Elsztain happens to be this country’s largest landowner and his business and political profiles are, indeed, very interesting, representing a good Case Study that helps to understand how the Global Power Elite’s influence, lobbying and militancy work in practice our country (and in most other countries too). Eduardo Elsztain is:

1. President of the local Real estate giant IRSA, belonging to his family and which, since 1989, partnered with Jewish-American-Hungarian real estate magnate and speculator multibillionaire George Soros(director of the CFR/Trilateral Commission). For Soros, Argentina has meant great business as in the ten years in which he was involved in “investing” in our country under president Carlos Menem’s liberal policies, he was able to siphon off 500 million dollars of local wealth into his pockets….

2. Elsztain is member of the New-York-based Americas Society founded by David Rockefeller (Exxon/JPMorganChase) and managed by William Rhodes (CitiCorp), amongst others. Other Argentine members include Amalia Fortabat (cement heiress), Marcelo Mindlin (see below) and the criminal banker José Röhm (owner of the defunct Banco General de Negocios, wanted by the Argentine Courts). The Americas Society acts as an interface in Latin America for the Council on Foreign Relations (whose headquarters happen to be right across the street from them, on Park Avenue at 67^th Street, in New York City).

3. In 2005, Elsztain was named treasurer of the World Jewish Congress by its president, who is also Mr Elsztain’s friend and business partner Edgar Bronfman (member of the Trilateral Commission, CFR, the Jewish Masonic lodge B’Nai B’Rith, and the militant ADL Anti-Defamation League of Nueva York). Owner of the Seagram Distilleries, Bronfman is one of the wealthiest and most powerful billionaires of the world.

4. Elsztain owners the majority shareholding in the local Banco Hipotecario (a formerly public mortgage bank serving the public that was privatized by Carlos Menem in the 90’s in George Soros’ benefit), which Elsztain in turn delegated onto Ms Clarisa Lifsic de Estol (president), and which counts amongst its directors, one Jacobo J. Dreizzen, co-designer of the criminal Sovereign Public Debt Bond Mega-Swap carried out by him in June 2001 with then economy minister Domingo Cavallo, which only five months later led directly to Argentina’s full banking collapse and default in December 2001 (however it increased out foreign debt by over 50 billion dollars…).

5. Elsztain is a regular participant in the World Economic Foru8m at Davos (presided by Trilateral member Klaus Schwab)

6. He is also the owner of the main shopping malls in Buenos Aires city (Alto Palermo, Patio Bullrich, Paseo Alcorta, Design Center, Abasto) and other major cities. He owns large agricultural establishments throughout the country (collectively managed under his company Cresud). He owns luxury hotels like the Llao-Llao in Bariloche (Tourist capital of Patagonia), the Buenos Aires Intercontinental and the Sheraton Libertador. He owns emblematic Buenos Aires skyscrapers like the Rulero Building in the Retiro district, Laminar Plaza in Catalinas, the Microsoft Tower, and shopping malls in Caballito and Neuquén, amongst many others. He owns a 100 Hectare farm in the Quetrihué Peninsula on Lake Nahuel Huapi in Bariloche, which extends from Villa La Angostura resort town to the popular Arrayanes Forest tourist attraction in Bariloche. The luxury Llao-Llao Hotel is usually completely shut off to Gentiles during the Jewish Pessaj – Passover – Festivities when it is fully occupied by militant Jews.

7. Amongst his business associates, we find Sam Zell (one of the five largest real estate owners in the US), Michael Steinhardt (investment fund owner) and Marcelo Mindlin (former vice-president of IRSA until 2003, also member of the Americas Society and owner of the Dolphin Investment Fund (focused on electric utilities).

8. President of the Argentine Branch of the US-based International Hiller Foundation that supposedly “renders financial assistance to Jewish youths…” We wonder whether that includes aiding the “cute mochileros” who roam throughout all of Patagonia…

9. Elsztain is an active militant in the Orthodox Jewish Movement Jabad Lubavitch.

· 1990 to date – It is a well-known fact in both Argentina and Chile that enormous extension s of land have been purchased throughout all of the Patagonian region by alleged “investors” and billionaire “ecologists”, all thanks to the irresponsible and cowardly public policies of successive governments in Argentina and Chile beginning in the nineties which totally relaxed our laws. These same policies also allowed the likes of Nestor and Cristina Kirchner (our former and present presidents, respectively) to acquire huge tracts of land at dirt cheap prices, and later sell them for millions of dollars in the tourist city of El Calafate, for instance, in the Kirchner’s home Province of Santa Cruz.

To name but a few of these foreign billionaire “investors” and “ecologists”:

1. Carlo y Luciano Benetton (Italian) – Owners of 900.000 Hectares. In the provinces of Neuquén and Chubut

2. Ted Turner (US – shareholder and founder of CNN and TNT) – owner of over 5000 Hectares near the city of Bariloche (where he went so far as to privatize lakes and mountains that were formerly public tourist areas.

3. Douglas Tomkins (US) – Focused on acquiring land in the Chilean side of Patagonia, virtually cutting that country in half as he acquired large tracts of land running from the Pacific coast to the border with Argentina.

4. George Soros (Hungarian-US Jewish “investor”)

5. Joseph Lewis – (British) owner of Planet Hollywood. Acquired huge tracts of land in Patagonia and built a landing strip near the Patagonian township of El Bolsón, as large as the main runway at Buenos Aires City Airport. Clearly, the GPE need to have direct access by air to Patagonia by large aircraft – both military and civilian – which is now guaranteed by the fact that there are several outlying major runways, including the one that was inaugurated in 2001 in El Calafate (Santa Cruz) just went we went into financial meltdown.

6. Daniel Lerner – (US) President of Walt Disney Enterprises for Latin America

7. Ward Lay…

· 23rd November 2009 – Another interesting example is that of the present mayor of Buenos Aires City, Mauricio Macri, a typical example of Argentina’s political class being fully functional to the GPE and its Zionist controllers (The Macri Family have close business ties with the local Jewish landowners Werthein, with Israeli interests, and with the powerful Italian Agnelli family (owners of the Fiat Car Plants and co-founders with David Rockefeller of the Trilateral Commission). When Mr Macri was recently confronted with a major political scandal because he started up the new Metropolitan Police by naming its first chief of police,Jorge “El Fino” Palacios who a short time afterwards ordered a whole spate of illegal wire-tapings. When he went to a local TV talk Show – “Los Tres Poderes” (AmericaTV, 23-Nov-2009) – to explain what had happened and why he named Mr. Palacios who was suspected of having unclear involvement in the AMIA terror bombing cover-up (see my video on the subject: ‘False Flag Attacks in Argentina – AMIA and Israeli Embassy Bldgs’ – Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puQPQ4UFzDE , Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbi10oawsHM, Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-elCNz2czso). At that point,Macri responded by saying “Who are the people who have the clearest picture of what is happening in Argentina regarding security? The best intelligence services in the world like the (Israeli) Mossad. So, we went to see the US Embassy and the Israeli Embassy and we told them ‘can you recommend the best policeman to us?’. And those two embassies, without even speaking to each other, both answered ‘Mr Palacios’.” Then, Macri added that he named Palacios “on the recommendation of these two foreign intelligence agencies who know full well who is who. This man (Palacios) had been decorated by the DAIA as well as by the Israeli Government for his actions during all these years, including his involvement on the AMIA case.” Yet another example of how our local politicians and “businessmen” are – knowing or unknowingly – but pawns in the hands of International Zionist interests (for those readers who can understand Spanish, here is the link to that grotesque TV interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzlZ9tE0dtM).

· 19th October 2008 – Once again, we learn from the Buenos Aires Daily newspaper “La Nacion” that a US “Environmental NGO” called The Nature Conservancy, chose the city of Bariloche to set up its office in Argentina. The article carries the title “Ecomillionaires in Patagonia want to Recover our Temperate Grasslands”. The Nature Conservancy is financed by major corporations, and the NGO’s president is HenryPaulson (Treasury Secretary during the George W Bush Administration and former CEO of Goldman Sachs), Roberto Hernández Ramírez, (president of the Banamex Bank in México), Mark Tercek, (Director, Goldman Sachs). Financing was received from, amongst other, the MacArthur Foundation, Hewlett Packard, General Motors, Xerox, American Electric Power, Procter & Gamble…. All, these multinational corporations and multibillionaires are, no doubt, very concerned about what happens with “Patagonia’s grasslands…” (!!)

4) A PLAN GOING BACK MANY, MANY YEARS

· The Patagonia Company, Inc – At least, that’s what I call it… One can envision that there will come a time when Patagonia itself will be “privatized” (¿debt for territory?). This could very well become a key mechanism for territorial take-over. Some are already calling it PPP (Public-Private Partnerships). A day will surely when one of Argentina’s systematically treacherous governments will concession out all of Patagonia to some suitably set up Joint Venture Company (trading under the name of ‘Patagonia, Inc.’ or ‘Patagonia, Ltd’?), for a period of say 100 or 500 years (it makes no real difference), with the “Mission” of “efficiently managing” Patagonia’s huge resources, of course, to “benefit Mankind”. It would be a revamped political, economic and legal scheme of truly global proportions, consisting of conglomerates of major transnational corporations and multilateral agencies. It could include, for example, oil giants like ExxonMobil, British Petroleum, Repsol, YPF (today ceded by the Kirchner government to their banker-partner Eduardo Eskenazi), Texaco Shell; together with megabanks like CitiGroup, JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and HSBC; together with industrial defense contractors like Lockheed Martin, General Electric, General Dynamics, United Technologies, Boeing, Halliburton and British Aerospace; mining conglomerates like Barrick Gold, all working together with the coming beefed-up structures of the IMF, World Bank, governmental agencies like the National Security Agency of the US, CIA, Mossad, MI6, plus some representative from the Argentine State (just to maintain a make-believe image of Argentina “sovereignty”). Today, I would venture to say that “Patagonia, Inc.” might even have a Kirchner as its Chairman or Chairwoman, as this represent for the Criminal Kirchner Couple, a further step on the way to one of them eventually becoming “president of the Patagonian Republic”. Whether they do this on the private or public side of Patagonia, really makes very little difference. This Model actually has its roots in the British east India Company founded in 1600. We must all beware of the signs that this may happen in states of the US, municipalities, territories, provinces and other territories.

· The Argentine people are not Trustworthy to the Global Power Elite – For them it seems that Argentina is recurrently disobedient to their demands, we are too revolutionary for their taste. A bit of history: we started off “on the wrong foot” (for the GPE) when twice in 1806 and 1807 the people of Buenos Aires fought back two English invasions… and we won!! Later in 1810, we were the first in South America to declare independence from Spain and in 1816, we won!! Then, during a long period of British and French backed civil war from 1835 to 1852 a great Argentine leader Juan Manuel de Rosas valiantly defended Argentina from the British, the French and their local paws in Uruguay, Brazil and Chile. This was symbolized in the Naval Battle at Vuelta de Obligado on the Paraná River where on 20th November 1845 we blocked the Anglo-French fleet with huge chains laid across the river and, eventually… we won! In the 20^th Century, president Hipólito Yrigoyen did not bow to US pressure for Argentina to enter World War I, and we later rejected becoming members of the Society of Nations because it was a tool of the US and UK (after all, the Society of Nations has been designed by the then just founded Council on Foreign Relations). Yrigoyen was later removed by a US-UK backed military coup in 1930. Even so, in 1943 a National Reaction government again refused to embark on World War II on the US, UK, Soviet side against Germany, Italy and Japan. Starting in 1946, another great national leader, Juan Domingo Perón, proposes to the whole world that Freedom loving nations should like Argentina adopt the ‘Third Position’ i.e., neither liberal US-UK democracy nor Soviet communism, as a way of sailing the dangerous waters of the post-war Bi-polar world. At the same time, Perón rapidly industrialized Argentina, focused on National Defense, and promoted the best social legislation at the time. Again, in 1955 a US-backed military coup removed Perón and, since then, our country has slumped into ever-increasing decadence, poverty and weakness. On top of that, in 1982 another irresponsible civilian-military regime took back the Malvinas- Falkland Islands from Britain, sparking a short war that must have surely lit some warning lights in the GPE’s geopolitical panel, because not only did the Argentinian people fully support that war effort and our military, the Argentina´s Air Force, in particular, fought so well that they sank many British destroyers, cruisers and other war ships and planes, and put England’s two flagship aircraft carriers “Invincible” and “Hermes”, out of combat. Clearly, if Argentines were able to do this under a very bad government, what would they not be able to do under a goodgovernment?

· Special Punishment: All of this resulted in our being meted out “special treatment” by the GPE, by destroying us culturally, falsifying our history, inverting our traditional values, unilaterally disarming our military, and taking over our economy and financial systems. And they did this through local managers on their payroll: i.e., the pro-US Military regime of 1976-83, and the so called “democratic” governments of presidents Alfonsín, Menem, Cavallo, De la Rúa, Duhalde, and the Criminal Kirchner Couple, all of whom are allied with anti-Argentine multimedia outlets (with their disinformation and deculturalization agents and a whole army of fraudulent, banal, cowardly, queer, decrepit, decadent and stupid pawns, who are at the GPE’s fullest service and payroll)

· Result: Today, Argentina’s people are for the most part confused, disoriented, and systematically punished. We are kept under control by growing insecurity in the streets, in our jobs and in our homes. We are systematically attacked by our own government, who should be defending and protecting us… What better way to fully dominated and control a country than to do it using their own worst human elements as well-paid pawns and local managers? What better way to humiliate us and make us bite the dust?

Tout est question de mesure en èconomie: Si vous avez une croissance annuelle de 4 a 5 % vous pouvez supporter un endettement de 20 a 40% du PNB car vous depensez un peu plus de vos rentrèes fiscales en vue de produire plus. Au-delà de 40% la dette devient un fardeau insupportable à fortiori quand la croissance tombe a 1%. Concernant la loi Giscard il est flagrant qu’elle a servi a placer l’ Etat en situation de dèbiteur alors qu’ il ètait en situation de souverain. C’ est là une question de règime politique.

Giscard a dèliberement rabaissè la souverainetè de l’ Etat, pour en faire un client comme un autre des èpargants et des banques . La seule manière de gèrer cet abaissement de l’ Etat c’ est de faire appel à l’ èpargne nationale. Cela a fonctionnè un temps avec l’ emprunt Giscard et tout allait bien.Cela fonctionne encore comme cela au Japon ou ce sont les Japonais qui placent leur èpargne en Bons du Tresor Japonais.Dès que le niveau d’ endettement devient disproportionnè par rapport à la croissance , l’ Etat doit offrir des taux beaucoup plus élevès pour financer le dèficit.La comparaison de la loi Giscard avec le Japon (220% de dèficit ,inflation faible, PNB faible, forte exportation , forte epargne , Banque du Japon preteur de derniere instance pour son pays mais aussi pour toute l’ Asie ) prouve qu’il est FALLACIEUX de justifier l’ abaissement de souverainetè de L’ Etat pour des raisons de lutte contre l’ inflation.3 facteurs ont coulè la France depuis 1973 : Desindustrialisation- Etat couteux a gestion » socialiste » – deséducation+ déresponsabilisation des individus :L’ Equation Etat-Monnaie-Richesse repose sur 3 pieds, sciez le pied Etat( et sa banque ) elle tombe pour se situer a un niveau ou la richesse ne depend que de la lutte entre la Monnaie ( les financiers ) et la Production ( entrepreneurs-salariès ). Ici doit intervenir un choix gordien, une dècision cruciale en Europe entre 3 directions: Austeritè eternelle/Cassure de la zone Euro et repli des Etats sur leur monnaie nationale ( avec remboursement des OAT aux calendes grecques )/Fiscalitè commune et Eurobonds communs a la plupart des pays ( sauf PIIGS ) . Ce choix dèpend de Mme Merkel , or elle refuse les Eurobonds ( qui renchèrierait son emprunt), et ne souhaite qu’une fiscalitè commune. Donc l’ Europe va dans le mur de la domination allemande.Le maillom faible qui va cèder sera l’ Italie....

A lawsuit was filed on November 23rd that could end the secret government that has ruled Western civilization for at least the past 300 years. The lawsuit claims that close to $1 trillion was stolen by, among others, UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and the UN, former Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi and the Italian government, Giancarlo Bruno and the Davos World Economic Forum and others believed to include many of the owners of the US Federal Reserve Board. The lawsuit was filed in New York by Neil Keenan, acting as representative of the Dragon family, a reclusive group of wealthy Asian families. This filing is the result of extensive evidence gathering by international police and law-enforcement agencies including Interpol, the CIA, the Japanese Security Police, Eastern European secret services and has the backing of the Pentagon as well as the armed forces of Russia and China.

The ultimate defendants in this legal action are believed to be the same cabal behind the assassination of US President, John F. Kennedy, and many other major international crimes.

This particular lawsuit was triggered by the illegal detainment of two Japanese citizens, Akihiko Yamaguchi and Mitsuyoshi Watanabe, as well as the seizure of $134.5 billion in bonds they were holding in Italy on June 3, 2009. After the bonds were stolen, self-described 33rd degree Freemason, Leo Zagami, contacted this writer and said the Montecarlo P2 masonic lodge could cash the bonds with the help of Vatican banker, Daniel Dal Bosco. This writer forwarded the information, via a member of the UK Royal family, to the Dragon family who entrusted a further $1 trillion worth of similar bonds to the plaintiff, Neil Keenan. Keenan then, after much negotiation, entrusted the bonds to Dal Bosco.

Dal Bosco subsequently absconded with the bonds and was followed 24-hours a day by various intelligence service agents to see what he would do with them. The Dal Bosco trail led to the Davos World forum, the UN, the Italian government and the Vatican, among other places. Following this, Keenan was approached by a who’s who of powerful figures, including top Vatican officials, Wall Street bankers, European nobles and former US presidents, most offering him astronomical bribes to go away. He was also poisoned with ricin and nearly killed.

According to Keenan, “The roots of this case go back to between 1927 and 1938, when, under arrangements made between T.V. Soong (Finance Minister of China) and Henry Morgethau, Secretary of the Treasury, the United States Government purchased some 50 million ounces of silver and leased vast amounts of gold from the Nationalist Chinese Government, known as Kuomintang. For all the treasure handed in, certificates were given to those who surrendered their precious metals.”

Many of the bonds seized by Dal Bosco are backed with the Chinese gold taken by the Federal Reserve Board during those years and never returned to its legal owners.

Other bonds seized were Kennedy bonds. These bonds were backed by gold held in trust for the people of the planet and were supposed to be used to finance the economic development of the world. Instead, they have mostly been stolen and misused by members of the cabal that has seized control of the Western financial system on behalf of private interests.

The original signatory to the Kennedy bonds was former Indonesian President, Soekarno. Soekarno’s heir, Dr. Seno Edy Soekanto, has given Keenan power of attorney to return to their rightful owners the Kennedy bonds and other property allocated to the people of the world, via something known as the global collateral accounts.

The lawsuit is only the first salvo in a legal battle to restore control of the global financial system to the people and governments of the world, as well as the rightful owners of historical assets that have been seized by members of the banking cartel.

The lawsuit has been filed as Civil Action #8500 at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on November 23, 2011.

The entire cause of the problem

The United States is a private corporation owned by the British Crown (Rothchilds), the Bank of England (Rothchilds) and the Vatican (Rothchilds again). It was previously called the Virginia Company until 3/9/33, when it was dissolved by Roosevelt under the Emergency Banking Act. On 5/5/33, Congress elected to dissolve the Gold Standard and Sovereign Authority of the U.S. and all of its official capacities, including government offices, departments and officers. The U.S. is a corporation, not a nation. The Federal Reserve is neither Federal, nor a Reserve. It is a private counterfeiting organization run by Jewish bankers who lend the money they print out of thin air, at interest, while we keep on paying these criminals to fleece the People.

That technology of theft and deception that has been exported from the United States through their promotion of this fraud as the paradigm of global finance is an obscenity that has set the seeds of its own destruction.

This has been compounded by the refusal of ordinary people to realize, know and understand that it is the duplicity of Governments and the deceit and endless greed of bankers that combined to simply fleece them, like the apathetic sheep they are. Apathy and ignorance of the truth, creates belief in the lie. The truth is self-evident, but most people choose to neither hear it nor understand it. The debts of the Federal Reserve are the debts of a private corporation that is robbing the people of the United States.

The United States Dollar is a Federal Reserve Note and the obligations against the currency are the obligations of the Federal Reserve, not the people of the United States.

Understanding the History

1. Between 1927 and 1938, under arrangements made between T.V. Soong (Finance Minister of China) and Henry Morgethau, Secretary of the Treasury, the United States Government purchased some 50 million ounces of silver and leased vast amounts of gold from the Nationalist Chinese Government, known as Kuomintang. During this period, China was partly occupied by Japanese troops and there was the fear of China being overrun by the Japanese.

2. For all the treasure handed in, certificates were given to those who surrendered their precious metals. The surrendered precious metals and gemstones were sent to the United States under a lease agreement made between T.V. Soong and Henry Morgenthau. The Certificates became the underlying funds of the Kuomintang and were good and accepted securities.

3. In 1934, a new Securities Act was promulgated in the United States, together with the Gold Act, which required all bullion gold and gold coin to be surrendered to the Federal Reserve, a private corporation chartered to operate as the Central Bank of the United States and to be the issuer of the currency known as the United States Dollar.

4. Domestically owned gold was purchased. Foreign Gold held by the Treasury was also surrendered to the Federal Reserve, so, was leased to the Federal Reserve. This began the series 1934 Notes issued by the Federal Reserve. These have never been redeemed and the interest cost was met by further issuances of the 1934 series FRN’s.

5. These 1934 FRN’s guarantee the lease payments and to allow the Chinese Government to continue financially. These came under the control of the Kuomintang, the Nationalist Government in China, from whom the Gold had been received. Many were left in China when the Kuomintang had to flee to Taiwan. The Gold had been nationalized by the Kuomintang, who moved much of the FRN’s (but not all) to Taiwan which was built on these notes. These Notes were the underlying wealth of Taiwan and they were good for value as they were backed by gold.

6. During the war in China, most owners of the depository notes issued by Chinese Banks were killed by the Japanese, others later being killed by both the Kuomintang and the Chinese Communists, thus the Gold became property of the Nation, especially so, the Kuomintang. In Europe, Jews who had owned wealth were stripped of that wealth through various means and were then eliminated. The gold was taken either by stealth or by force, that is a reality of history.

7. The Kuomintang appointed guardians of this Gold and the securities issued by the United States; they are euphemistically known as the Dragon Family. The Dragon Family is, in fact, an organization that operates between old families within China and Taiwan, and, as such, is above the political divide of the two independent Chinese Governments. Chinese are remarkable in this regard, that old family ties and functions supercede political arrangements which, though they might last for generations, are regarded as inconsequential over the passage of time to most Chinese. Attached to this, is the wealth of several nations. The United States, in support of the Kuomintang and resistance groups, actually printed more of these FRN notes inside China itself. These operations were run by the CIA to buy loyalty of various factions in the fight against the communists, eventually being driven out into Burma around 1960. Largely due to the additional printing of these notes, the additional Notes were given in lieu of interest, but directed to specific persons and parties.

8. At the end of the World War II, with Communist and Kuomintang factions at war in China, the International Community and the Chinese assented to the Gold being placed under the overt control of Indonesian President Soekarno. Soekarno then, on August 17, 1945, came to be known as M1 under United Nations Approval No. MISA 81704 “Operation Heavy Freedom". This was because much of the world’s gold had been delivered into Indonesia and the Philippines. Canada, Australia, Great Britain, India and other British Colonies sent their gold to the so-called “impregnable Singapore”. The Japanese, as per the arrangements agreed to by Hirohito in the 1921 Pact Between Nations made in London, delivered much of this gold to Indonesia (then a Dutch Colony) and to the Philippines (then a US Colony) into secret bunkers that had been mostly constructed by the Japanese between 1924 and 1945. This is why the Allied troops in Malaya had no air cover or sufficient supplies that would have allowed them to resist the Japanese. Singapore had to fall so most of the global wealth could be “lost” into a secret system that made the gold standard redundant and fiat currencies a reality.

This gold was documented into accounts through the Swiss Commercial Bank, Union Bank of Switzerland, placed under protection of the Swiss Attorney General, registered through the Swiss National Bank into the Bank for International Settlements International Collateral Combined accounts and then from within the BIS, blocked to form the Institutional Parent Registration Accounts of the Federal Reserve System.

Later, President Marcos of the Philippines was appointed and held the position of M1 until 1987 and then the position was transferred to Dr. Ray C. Dam, in October of 1987, under Legal Decadency to Heir RCD1087 Far East Entire, with formal Power of Attorney and Assignment of Indonesian Assets signed by Sarinah Soetiwi (holder of the assets on behalf of the Nation of Indonesia, as assigned by President Soekarno) in 1992, Dam’s authority later promulgated January 20, 1995. Dam proved to be impossible for the entire system to work with, (either because he refused to allow those who placed him in authority to steal, or because of his personal arrogance…. difficult to know which is correct) and his authority over the Institutional parent registration Accounts set aside and the system reverted to the three Nations who had controlled these accounts since World war II, United States, Great Britain and France, who systematically and illegally subverted the established system since 1996.

9. From this we can see that there are two functional operations. One was ownership and Depository control by the owners of the Gold and the other a control system set in place to administer and control the Collateral Combined Accounts as an independent Arbiter. Ownership rights are held by the signatory to the Depository Accounts in Commercial Banks and Control Rights have been held by M1.

10. So it was, that the entire world supply of bullion and coinage gold was withdrawn and fiat currencies became the order of the day. However, underneath the notes and money issued by the Federal Reserve was the underlying wealth within a centralized system that Nations was intended to be used equitably, but Bankers determined they would use to raid national economies.

11. In 1963, President John F. Kennedy entered into an Agreement with President Soekarno to provide the funds to allow the United States Treasury to print its own currency, thus subverting the “right” to print the currency held by the Federal Reserve. The Agreement would have transferred some 59,000 tons of gold to underpin this currency. The problem with this was that the US domestic currency would have then been backed by gold which would have been a violation of international agreements meant to stabilize currencies. 11 days after signing this agreement, President Kennedy was assassinated. President Johnson then suspended EO11110, as issued by Kennedy, and transferred the bullion to the Federal Reserve. The Green Hilton Agreement was not implemented until 1968 when Soekarno fell from office and when Global Trade made it imperative that the world have a Global Currency. As the Gold had been transferred to the US Treasury in 1968, a series of Bonds known as Kennedy Bonds were issued in order to honor the terms of the Green Hilton Agreement made between Kennedy and Soekarno, the 1968 terms of the gold delivery to the United States being different than made in 1934. When after 30 years, interest had not been paid as promised, a reissue of the bonds in an increased number were issued as commemorative notes and were accepted by the owners of the Gold, the Dragon Family.

12. From copies of Bank documents received by Neil Keenan, within the Green Hilton Memorial Agreement, the funds the amounts of gold and platinum are specified. These amounts of gold are certificated and the certificates and ledger copies with full and exact identification and recognition codes are available. These certificates are further proven by the bank reports, copies of which are now held by Neil Keenan. The truth of these instruments can be vigorously defended through documentation in our hands and further through interrogation of the Black Screens where the off ledger collateral is held, together with an interrogation of the grey and blue screens where we will find enormous fraud from the illegal use of these assets.

13. In the few documents we present with this complaint, we can see that the assets have been deposited, the counter-assets created and presented to the depositors, the depositors have been cheated for over 70 years through the intentional and fraudulent failure of the Obligor to honor the Agreements.

14. In recent weeks, we have come into possession of the books and records of the late President Soekarno, and all the codes and ledgers of the Global Accounts. The size of these accounts can be seen by reviewing the Collective Agreement between the Garuda Memorial Hilton Indonesia and the Green Memorial Hilton Geneva, established, structured and made operational between 1961 and final signature in 1972. Under this Agreement, the assets of the international collateral combined were established and brought forward, then, within a short period of time misused to change the operating systems of banks.

15. Reviewing these books, we can now see that Banks set aside the notion of operating under the Charters they hold as banks; instead of being Banks, they became like very poor casino operators and traders, selling what they do not own. The records in our possession, signed and registered by the receiving and managing commercial bank, show the underlying funds in numbers and amounts that stagger the imagination. The Green Hilton and Garuda Memorial Agreements demonstrate clearly the value of the global account system.

The Iranian people know what it means to earn the enmity of the global godfather....

As William Blum documented in Killing Hope: U.S. Military and CIA Interventions Since World War II, 1953's CIA-organized coup against Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh, guilty of the "crime" of nationalizing the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company, may have "saved" Iran from a nonexistent "Red Menace," but it left that oil-rich nation in proverbial "safe hands"--those of the brutal dictatorship of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi.

Similarly today, a nonexistent "nuclear threat" is the pretext being used by Washington to install a "friendly" regime in Tehran and undercut geopolitical rivals China and Russia in the process, thereby "securing" the country's vast petrochemical wealth for American multinationals.

As the U.S. and Israel ramp-up covert operations against Iran, the Pentagon "has laid out its most explicit cyberwarfare policy to date, stating that if directed by the president, it will launch 'offensive cyber operations' in response to hostile acts," according to The Washington Post.

Citing "a long-overdue report to Congress released late Monday," we're informed that "hostile acts may include 'significant cyber attacks directed against the U.S. economy, government or military'," unnamed Defense Department officials stated.

However, Air Force General Robert Kehler, the commander of U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) told Reuters, "I do not believe that we need new explicit authorities to conduct offensive operations of any kind."

The Pentagon report, which is still not publicly available, asserts: "We reserve the right to use all necessary means--diplomatic, informational, military and economic--to defend our nation, our allies, our partners and our interests."

Washington's "interests," which first and foremost include "securing its hegemony over the energy-rich regions of the Middle East and Central Asia" as the World Socialist Web Site observed, may lead the crisis-ridden U.S. Empire "to take another irresponsible gamble to shore up its interests in the Middle East ... as a means of diverting attention from the social devastation produced by its austerity agenda."

Recent media reports suggest however, that offensive cyber operations are only part of Washington's multipronged strategy to soften-up the Islamic Republic's defenses as a prelude to "regime change."

Terrorist Proxies

For the better part of six decades, terrorist proxies have done America's dirty work. Hardly relics of the Cold War past, U.S. and allied secret state agencies are using such forces to carry out attacks inside Iran today.

Asia Times Online reported that "deadly explosions at a military base about 60 kilometers southwest of Tehran, coinciding with the suspicious death of the son of a former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, have triggered speculation in Iran on whether or not these are connected to recent United States threats to resort to extrajudicial executions of IRGC leaders."

And Time Magazine, a frequent outlet for sanctioned leaks from the Pentagon, reported that the blast at the Iranian missile base west of Tehran, which killed upwards of 40 people according to the latest estimates, including Major General Hassan Moqqadam, a senior leader of Iran's missile program, was described as the work "of Israel's external intelligence service, Mossad."

An unnamed "Western intelligence source" told reporter Karl Vick: "'Don't believe the Iranians that it was an accident,' adding that other sabotage is being planned to impede the Iranian ability to develop and deliver a nuclear weapon. 'There are more bullets in the magazine,' the official says."

While Iranian officials insist that the huge blast was an "accident," multiple accounts in the corporate press and among independent analysts provide strong evidence for the claim that Israel and their terrorist cat's paw, the bizarre political cult, Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK) were responsible for the attack.

Richard Silverstein, a left-wing analyst who writes for the Tikun Olam web site, said that the blast was a sign that "the face of the Israeli terror machine may have reared its ugly head in the world."

Citing "an Israeli source with extensive senior political and military experience," Silverstein's correspondent provided "an exclusive report that it was the work of the Mossad in collaboration with the MEK."

Hardly a stranger to controversial reporting, Silverstein published excerpts of secret FBI transcripts leaked to him by the heroic whistleblower Shamai Leibowitz. Those wiretapped conversations of Israeli diplomats caught spying on the U.S., "described an Israeli diplomatic campaign in this country to create a hostile environment for relations with Iran."

In a Truthout piece, Silverstein wrote that Leibowitz, a former IDF soldier who refused to serve in the Occupied Territories, "explained that he was convinced from his work on these recordings that the Israel foreign ministry and its officials in this country were responsible for a perception management campaign directed against Iran. He worried that such an effort might end with either Israel or the US attacking Iran and that this would be a disaster for both countries."

Unfortunately, while Leibowitz sits in a U.S. prison his warnings are all but ignored.

According to Silverstein's latest account, "it is widely known within intelligence circles that the Israelis use the MEK for varied acts of espionage and terror ranging from fraudulent Iranian memos alleging work on nuclear trigger devices to assassinations of nuclear scientists and bombings of sensitive military installations."

Silverstein noted that "a similar act of sabotage happened a little more than a year ago at another IRG missile base which killed nearly 20."

Terrorist attacks targeting defense installations coupled with the murder of Iranian scientist, five "targeted killings" have occurred since 2010, aren't the only aggressive actions underway.

On Friday, The Washington Post reported that "a series of mysterious incidents involving explosions at natural gas transport facilities, oil refineries and military bases ... have caused dozens of deaths and damage to key infrastructure in the past two years."

According to the Post, "suspicions have been raised in Iran by what industry experts say is a fivefold increase in explosions at refineries and gas pipelines since 2010."

With Iran's oil industry under a strict sanctions regime by the West, maintenance of this critical industrial sector has undoubtedly suffered neglect due to the lack of spare parts.

However, "suspicions that covert action might already be underway were raised when four key gas pipelines exploded simultaneously in different locations in Qom Province in April," the Post disclosed.

"Lawmaker Parviz Sorouri told the semiofficial Mehr News Agency that the blasts were the work of 'terrorists' and were 'organized by the enemies of the Islamic Republic'," hardly an exaggerated charge given present tensions.

Whether or not these attacks were the handiwork of Mossad, their MEK proxies or even CIA paramilitary officers and Pentagon Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) commandos, as Seymour Hersh revealed more than three years ago in The New Yorker, it is clear that Washington and Tel Aviv are "preparing the battlespace" on multiple fronts.

'Collapse the Iranian Economy'

Along with covert operations and terrorist attacks inside the Islamic Republic, on the political front, a bipartisan consensus has clearly emerged in Washington in favor of strangling the Iranian economy.

Indeed, congressional grifters are threatening to crater Iran's Central Bank, an unvarnished act of war. IPS reported that neocon Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL), "a key pro-Israel senator," has offered legislation "that would effectively ban international financial companies that do business with the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) from participating in the U.S. economy."

"Dubbed the 'nuclear option' by its critics," Jim Lobe reported that "the measure, which was introduced Thursday in the form of an amendment to the 2012 defence authorisation bill, is designed to 'collapse the Iranian economy'... by making it virtually impossible for Tehran to sell its oil."

However, "independent experts," Lobe wrote, "including some officials in the administration of President Barack Obama, say the impact of such legislation, if it became law, could spark a major spike in global oil prices that would push Washington's allies in Europe even deeper into recession and destroy the dwindling chances for economic recovery here."

That amendment was introduced as tensions were brought to a boil over allegations by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in its latest report that Iran may be seeking to develop nuclear weapons.

IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano claims the Agency has "identified outstanding issues related to possible military dimensions to Iran's nuclear programme and actions required of Iran to resolve these."

"Since 2002," Amano averred, "the Agency has become increasingly concerned about the possible existence in Iran of undisclosed nuclear related activities involving military related organizations, including activities related to the development of a nuclear payload for a missile, about which the Agency has regularly received new information."

However, despite the fact that the "Agency continues to verify the non-diversion of declared nuclear material at the nuclear facilities," to whit, that such materials have not been covertly channeled towards military programs, Amano, reprising former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's famous gaff that "the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence," the IAEA "is unable to provide credible assurance about the absence of undeclared nuclear material and activities in Iran, and therefore to conclude that all nuclear material in Iran is in peaceful activities."

Far from being an independent "nuclear watchdog," the IAEA under Amano's stewardship has been transformed into highly-politicized and pliable organization eager to do Washington's bidding.

As a 2009 State Department cable released by WikiLeaks revealed, U.S. Ambassador Glyn Davies cheerily reported: "Yukiya Amano thanked the U.S. for having supported his candidacy and took pains to emphasize his support for U.S. strategic objectives for the Agency. Amano reminded Ambassador on several occasions that he would need to make concessions to the G-77, which correctly required him to be fair-minded and independent, but that he was solidly in the U.S. court on every key strategic decision, from high-level personnel appointments to the handling of Iran's alleged nuclear weapons program." (emphasis added)

Although the new report "offered little that was not already known by experts about Iran's nuclear programme" IPS averred, "it cited what it alleged was new evidence that 'Iran has carried out activities relevant to the development of a nuclear device' since 2003--the date when most analysts believe it abandoned a centralised effort to build a nuclear bomb'."

But as the United States, with the connivance of corporate media, bury the conclusions of not one, but two National Intelligence Estimates issued by the U.S. Director of National Intelligence, it is clear to any objective observer that "nonproliferation" is a cover for aggressive geopolitical machinations by Washington.

Both estimates, roundly denounced by U.S. neoconservatives and media commentators when they were published, insisted that "in fall of 2003, Tehran halted its nuclear weapons program," a finding intelligence analysts judged with "high confidence."

In contrast, the highly-politicized IAEA report is a provocative document whose timing neatly corresponds with the imposition of a new round of economic sanctions meant to crater the Iranian economy. Never mind that even according to the IAEA's own biased reporting, they could find no evidence that Iran had diverted nuclear materials from civilian programs (power generation, medical isotopes) to alleged military initiatives.

Indeed, with sinister allusions that hint darkly at "undeclared nuclear materials," the agency fails to provide a single scrap of evidence that diverted stockpiles even exist.

Another key allegation made by the Agency that Iran had constructed an "explosives chamber to test components of a nuclear weapon and carry out a simulated nuclear explosion," was denounced by former IAEA inspector Robert Kelley as "highly misleading," according to an IPS report filed by investigative journalist Gareth Porter.

With "information provided by Member States," presumably Israel and the United States, the IAEA said it "had 'confirmed' that a 'large cylindrical object' housed at the same complex had been 'designed to contain the detonation of up to 70 kilograms of high explosives'. That amount of explosives, it said, would be 'appropriate' for testing a detonation system to trigger a nuclear weapon."

"Kelley rejected the IAEA claim that the alleged cylindrical chamber was new evidence of an Iranian weapons programme," Porter wrote. "We've been led by the nose to believe that this container is important, when in fact it's not important at all," the former nuclear inspector said.

But as Mark Twain famously wrote, "A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." This is certainly proving to be the case with the IAEA under Yukiya Amano.

Another player "solidly in the U.S. court" is David Albright, the director of the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), a Washington, D.C. "think tank" funded by the elitist Carnegie, Ford and Rockefeller Foundations.

In an earlier piece for IPS, Porter demolished Albright's "sensational claim previously reported by news media all over the world that a former Soviet nuclear weapons scientist had helped Iran construct a detonation system that could be used for a nuclear weapon."

"But it turns out that the foreign expert, who is not named in the IAEA report but was identified in news reports as Vyacheslav Danilenko, is not a nuclear weapons scientist but one of the top specialists in the world in the production of nanodiamonds by explosives," Porter wrote.

"In fact," Porter averred, "Danilenko, a Ukrainian, has worked solely on nanodiamonds from the beginning of his research career and is considered one of the pioneers in the development of nanodiamond technology, as published scientific papers confirm."

"It now appears that the IAEA and David Albright ... who was the source of the news reports about Danilenko, never bothered to check the accuracy of the original claim by an unnamed 'Member State' on which the IAEA based its assertion about his nuclear weapons background."

It is no small irony, that Albright, corporate media's go-to guy on all things nuclear, penned an alarmist screed in 2002 entitled, "Is the Activity at Al Qaim Related to Nuclear Efforts?", an article which lent "scientific" credence to false claims made by the Bush White House against Iraq.

As investigative journalist Robert Parry pointed out on the Consortium News web site, "Albright's nuclear warning about Iraq coincided with the start of the Bush administration's propaganda campaign to rally Congress and the American people to war with talk about 'the smoking gun in the form of a mushroom cloud'."

"Yet," Parry noted, "when the Washington Post cited Albright on Monday, as the key source of a front-page article about Iran's supposed progress toward reaching 'nuclear capability,' all the history of Albright's role in the Iraq fiasco disappeared."

History be damned. Congressional warmongers and corporate media who cite these fraudulent claims, are "spurred by Israel's whisper campaign to create a sense of urgency on Capitol Hill where the Israel lobby, acting mainly through the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, exerts its greatest influence," as IPS noted, and punish Iran for the "crime" of opening its nuclear facilities to international inspection!

That "whisper campaign" has now bloomed into a full court press for war by "liberal" Democrats and "conservative" Republicans alike, even as public approval of Congress's work by the American people tracks only slightly higher than the popularity enjoyed by child molesters or serial killers.

As tensions are dialed up, the United States is spearheading a relentless drive to throttle Iran's economy. The New York Times reported that "major Western powers took significant steps on Monday to cut Iran off from the international financial system, announcing coordinated sanctions aimed at its central bank and commercial banks."

A strict sanctions regime was also imposed on Iran's "petrochemical and oil industries, adding to existing measures that seek to weaken the Iranian government by depriving it of its ability to refine gasoline or invest in its petroleum industry," the Times reported.

In a move which signals that even-more stringent sanctions are on the horizon, the U.S. Treasury Department "named the Central Bank of Iran and the entire Iranian banking system as a 'primary money laundering concern'."

That's rather rich coming from an administration which slapped Wachovia Bank on the wrist after that corrupt financial institution, now owned by Wells Fargo Bank, pleaded guilty to laundering as much as $378 billion for Mexico's notorious drug cartels as Bloomberg Markets Magazine reported last year!

Going a step further, France's President Nicolas Sarkozy called on the major imperialist powers "to freeze the assets of the central bank and suspend purchases of Iranian oil."

The Guardian reported that Britain "went the furthest by, for the first time, cutting an entire country's banking system off from London's financial sector."

Playing catch-up with war-hungry Democrats and Republicans, President Obama stated that the "new sanctions target for the first time Iran's petrochemical sector, prohibiting the provision of goods, services and technology to this sector and authorizing penalties against any person or entity that engages in such activity."

"They expand energy sanctions, making it more difficult for Iran to operate, maintain, and modernize its oil and gas sector," Obama said.

"As long as Iran continues down this dangerous path, the United States will continue to find ways, both in concert with our partners and through our own actions, to isolate and increase the pressure upon the Iranian regime."

Last summer, Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA), a strong backer of punishing sanctions, echoed Richard Nixon's vow to "make the economy scream" prior to the CIA's overthrow of Chile's democratically-elected socialist president, Salvador Allende, and wrote in The Hill that "critics ... argued that these measures will hurt the Iranian people. Quite frankly, we need to do just that."

With a new round of crippling economic sanctions on tap from the West, "liberal" Democrat Sherman might just get his wish.

Targeting Civilian Infrastructure

While the Obama administration claims that their aggressive stance towards Iran is meant to promote "peace" and "help" the Iranian people achieve a "democratic transformation," ubiquitous facts on the ground betray a far different, and uglier, reality.

Anonymous U.S. "intelligence officials" told The Daily Beast "that any Israeli attack on hardened nuclear sites in Iran would go far beyond airstrikes from F-15 and F-16 fighter planes and likely include electronic warfare against Iran's electric grid, Internet, cellphone network, and emergency frequencies for firemen and police officers."

According to Newsweek national security correspondent Eli Lake, "Israel has developed a weapon capable of mimicking a maintenance cellphone signal that commands a cell network to 'sleep,' effectively stopping transmissions, officials confirmed. The Israelis also have jammers capable of creating interference within Iran's emergency frequencies for first responders."

But Israel isn't the only nation capable of launching high-tech attacks or, borrowing the Pentagon's euphemistic language, conduct "Information Operations" (IO).

The U.S. Air Force Cyberspace & Information Operations Study Center (CIOSC) describe IO as "The integrated employment of the core capabilities of electronic warfare, computer network operations, psychological operations, military deception and operations security, in concert with specified supporting and related capabilities, to influence, disrupt, corrupt or usurp adversarial human and automated decision making while protecting our own."

In this light, The Daily Beast disclosed that "Israel also likely would exploit a vulnerability that U.S. officials detected two years ago in Iran's big-city electric grids, which are not 'air-gapped'--meaning they are connected to the Internet and therefore vulnerable to a Stuxnet-style cyberattack--officials say."

The anonymous officials cited by Lake informed us that "a highly secretive research lab attached to the U.S. joint staff and combatant commands, known as the Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC), discovered the weakness in Iran's electrical grid in 2009," the same period when Stuxnet was launched, and that Israeli and Pentagon cyberwarriors "have the capability to bring a denial-of-service attack to nodes of Iran's command and control system that rely on the Internet."

But as Ralph Langer, the industrial controls systems expert who first identified the Stuxnet virus warned in an interview with The Christian Science Monitor, the deployment of military-grade malicious code is a "game changer" that has "opened Pandora's box."

Among a host of troubling questions posed by Stuxnet, Langer said: "It raises, for one, the question of how to apply cyberwar as a political decision. Is the US really willing to take down the power grid of another nation when that might mainly affect civilians?"

But as we have seen, most recently during the punishing air campaign that helped "liberate" Libya--from their petrochemical resources--the U.S. and their partners are capable of doing that and more.

Future targeting of Iran's civilian infrastructure may in fact have been one of the tasks of the recently-discovered Duqu Trojan, which Israeli and U.S. "boutique arms dealers" are suspected of designing for their respective governments.

And whom, pray tell, has the means, motives and expertise to design weaponized computer code?

As BusinessWeek disclosed in July, when one of America's cyber merchants of death, Endgame Systems, pitch their products they "bring up maps of airports, parliament buildings, and corporate offices. The executives then create a list of the computers running inside the facilities, including what software the computers run, and a menu of attacks that could work against those particular systems."

According to BusinessWeek, "Endgame weaponry comes customized by region--the Middle East, Russia, Latin America, and China--with manuals, testing software, and 'demo instructions'."

"A government or other entity," journalists Michael Riley and Ashlee Vance revealed, "could launch sophisticated attacks against just about any adversary anywhere in the world for a grand total of $6 million. Ease of use is a premium. It's cyber warfare in a box."

Kaspersky Lab analyst Ryan Naraine, writing on the Duqu FAQ blog averred that Duqu's "main purpose is to act as a backdoor into the system and facilitate the theft of private information. This is the main difference when compared to Stuxnet, which was created to conduct industrial sabotage."

In other words, unlike Stuxnet, Duqu is an espionage tool which can smooth the way for future attacks such as those described by The Daily Beast.

As The Washington Post disclosed last May, while the military "needs presidential authorization to penetrate a foreign computer network and leave a cyber-virus that can be activated later," it does not need such authorization "to penetrate foreign networks for a variety of other activities."

According to the Post, these activities include "studying the cyber-capabilities of adversaries or examining how power plants or other networks operate," and can "leave beacons to mark spots for later targeting by viruses."

Or more likely given escalating tensions, Iranian air defenses and that nation's power and electronic communications grid which include "emergency frequencies for firemen and police officers" who would respond to devastating air and missile attacks.

Countdown to War

We can conclude that Israel, NATO and the United States are doing far more than placing "all options on the table" with respect to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Along with ratcheting-up bellicose rhetoric, moves to collapse the economy, an assassination and sabotage campaign targeting Iranian scientists and military installations, cyberwarriors are infecting computer networks with viruses and "beacons" that will be used to attack air defense systems and civilian infrastructure.

After all, as Dave Aitel, the founder of the computer security firm Immunity told BusinessWeek, "nothing says you've lost like a starving city."

As Global Research analyst Michel Chossudovsky warned last year, now confirmed by CIA and Pentagon leaks to corporate media: "It is highly unlikely that the bombings, if they were to be implemented, would be circumscribed to Iran's nuclear facilities as claimed by US-NATO official statements. What is more probable is an all out air attack on both military and civilian infrastructure, transport systems, factories, public buildings."

With the global economy in deep crisis as a result of capitalism's economic meltdown, and as the first, but certainly not the last political actions by the working class threaten the financial elite's stranglehold on power, the ruling class may very well gamble that a war with Iran is a risk worth taking.

As Chossudovsky warned in a subsequent Global Research report, "there are indications that Washington might envisage the option of an initial (US backed) attack by Israel rather than an outright US-led military operation directed against Iran."

"The Israeli attack--although led in close liaison with the Pentagon and NATO--would be presented to public opinion as a unilateral decision by Tel Aviv. It would then be used by Washington to justify, in the eyes of world opinion," Chossudovsky wrote, "a military intervention of the US and NATO with a view to 'defending Israel', rather than attacking Iran. Under existing military cooperation agreements, both the US and NATO would be 'obligated' to 'defend Israel' against Iran and Syria."

This prescient analysis has been borne out by events. As regional tensions escalate, the USS George H.W. Bush, "the Navy's newest aircraft carrier, has reportedly parked off the Syrian coast," The Daily Caller reported.

Earlier this week, the financial news service Zero Hedge disclosed that "the Arab League (with European and US support) are preparing to institute a no fly zone over Syria."

"But probably the most damning evidence that the 'western world' is about to do the unthinkable and invade Syria," analyst Tyler Durden wrote, "and in the process force Iran to retaliate, is the weekly naval update from Stratfor."

According to Zero Hedge, "CVN 77 George H.W. Bush has left its traditional theater of operations just off the Straits of Hormuz, a critical choke point, where it traditionally accompanies the Stennis, and has parked... right next to Syria."

In an earlier report, citing Kuwait's Al Rai daily, Zero Hedge warned that "Arab jet fighters, and possibly Turkish warplanes, backed by American logistic support will implement a no fly zone in Syria's skies, after the Arab League will issue a decision, under its Charter, calling for the protection of Syrian civilians."

The BBC reports that the Arab League "has warned Syria it has one day to sign a deal allowing the deployment of observers or it will face economic sanctions."

"Meanwhile," BBC averred, "France has suggested that some sort of humanitarian protection zones," à la Libya, "be created inside Syria."

American moves towards Syria are fraught with dangerous implications for international peace and stability. As analyst Pepe Escobar disclosed in Asia Times Online the Arab League, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia and repressive Gulf emirates, dances to Washington's tune.

"Syria is Iran's undisputed key ally in the Arab world--while Russia, alongside China, are the key geopolitical allies. China, for the moment, is making it clear that any solution for Syria must be negotiated," Escobar wrote.

"Russia's one and only naval base in the Mediterranean is at the Syrian port of Tartus. Not by accident," Escobar notes, "Russia has installed its S-300 air defense system--one of the best all-altitude surface-to-air missile systems in the world, comparable to the American Patriot--in Tartus. The update to the even more sophisticated S-400 system is imminent."

"From Moscow's--as well as Tehran's--perspective, regime change in Damascus is a no-no. It will mean virtual expulsion of the Russian and Iranian navies from the Mediterranean."

"In other words," Zero Hedge warned, "if indeed Europe and the Western world is dead set upon an aerial campaign above Syria, then all eyes turn to the East, and specifically Russia and China, which have made it very clear they will not tolerate any intervention. And naturally the biggest unknown of all is Iran, which has said than any invasion of Syria will be dealt with swiftly and severely."

Despite, or possibly because no credible evidence exists that Iran is building a nuclear bomb as a hedge against "regime change," belligerent rhetoric and regional military moves targeting Syria and Iran simultaneously are danger signs that imperialism's manufactured "nuclear crisis" is a cynical pretext for war.....

اليوم ونحن نصلي في الذكرى التاسعة لروح الشهيد النائب والوزير الراحل ايلي حبيقة نردد بايمان وخشوع ووقار ما قاله النبي أيوب رغم كل المصائب التي حلت عليه فيما كان الشيطان يحاول جاهداً إيقاعه في التجربة دون أن يتمكن من أن يحقق هدفه اللعين هذا كون إيمان أيوب بربه كان قوياً وراسخاً: "عرياناً خرجت من بطن أمي، وعرياناً أعود إلى هناك، الرب أعطى والرب أخذ تبارك اسم الرب". يقول الشاعر: "ما استحق أن يعيش، من عاش لنفسه فقط". لذلك فالشخص المؤمن يجد لذته في أن يحيا لأجل غيره، عملاًً بقول الرب، "تحب قريبك كنفسك" (متى39/22). ولهذا يحب كل الناس من أعماق قلبه وتكون محبته للآخرين محبة عملية حسبما قال الرسول يوحنا: "يا أبنائي، لا تكن محبتنا بالكلام أو باللسان بل بالعمل والحق". (1يو18:3).

هذه المحبة العظيمة، والله هو محبة، تتميز بالعطاء والبذل والتفاني سواء من الناحية الجسدية، أو الناحية الروحية. لذلك فإن الشخص المؤمن والمعطاء والصادق هو بطبيعته إنسان نقي وتقي وشفاف وصادق ومحب يخاف الله الذي خلقه على صورته ومثاله.

هذا الإنسان يجهد بفرح كبير ليكون خادماً يخدم غيره في كل المجالات، لا لأنه مطالب بهذا، وإنما لأن الخدمة جزء من طبيعته ونفسيته وثقافته، ومكون أساسي من مكونات كيانه الإيماني. في خدمة الآخرين يشعر بالحب ويتغذى روحياً من تقديم الخدمات أكثر مما يغذي غيره بها. وإذا كانت الخدمة هي من عمل الملائكة (عبرانيين14:1)، فكم بالأولى البشر. وقد أعطانا السيد المسيح المثال الأبلغ في هذا الشأن إذ قال: "ومن أراد أن يكون الأول فيكم، فليكن لكم عبدا، وهكذا ابن الإنسان جاء لا ليخدمه الناس، بل ليخدمهم ويفدي بحياته كثيراً منهم". (متى 20/27 و28)

جاء في إنجيل القديس يوحنا (15/13): "ما من حب أعظم من هذا: أن يضحي الإنسان بنفسه في سبيل أحبائه". وقال الشهيد النائب والوزير الراحل ايلي حبيقة: "إن الوطن الذي لا يفتديه شبابه بأرواحهم لا يستمر ويزول. إن خدمة الآخرين وبذل الذات من أجلهم هي أعمال مقدسة والمسيح الإله قبل الصلب والعذاب والإهانات وقدم نفسه على الصليب فداء للإنسان ليعتقه من نير وعبودية الخطيئة ويحرره.

إن الشهيد لا يطلب شيئاً لنفسه من مقتنيات هذه الدنيا الفانية، وإنما يسعي لنيل بركات الله ليستحق بجدارة أفعاله وإيمانه العودة إلى منزل أبيه السماوي، والمسيح قال لنا: "ماذا ينفع الإنسان لو ربح العالم كله وخسر نفسه". (متى 16/26).

الشهيد هو قربان طاهر يقدم نفسه طواعية على مذبح الله بمحبة واندفاع وفرح من أجل أحبائه تماماً كما هو حال كل شهيد من شهداء لبنان الأبرار. عرفاناً بجميلهم نقول أنه وبفضل استشهادهم بقينا، وسوف نبقى بإذن الله طالما بقي الشباب اللبناني مؤمنا بلبنان وبرسالته وعلى استعداد تام ودائم للشهادة.

الشهيد النائب والوزير الراحل ايلي حبيقة لم يمت لأنه باق في كل جهد وعمل يقوم بهما أي لبناني من أجل الحفاظ على سيادة واستقلال وحرية وطنه الحبيب، ولصون كرامة وعزة اللبنانيين، كما أن عائلة حبيقة هي نبع معطاء لا ينضب في دفق الإيمان والوطنية والشهادة للحق والشهداء من أجل لبنان الرسالة والقداسة والقديسين.

Boomerang! Is the Pentagon Field-Testing 'Son of Stuxnet'?

When the cybersecurity firm Symantec announced they had discovered a sophisticated Trojan which shared many of the characteristics of the Stuxnet virus, I wondered: was the Pentagon and/or their Israeli partners in crime field-testing insidious new spyware?

According to researchers, the malicious program was dubbed "Duqu" because it creates files with the prefix "~DQ." It is a remote access Trojan (RAT) that "is essentially the precursor to a future Stuxnet-like attack." Mark that carefully.

In simple terms, a Trojan is malicious software that appears to perform a desirable function prior to its installation but in fact, steals information from users spoofed into installing it, oftentimes via viral email attachments.

In the hands of enterprising security agencies, or criminals (the two are functionally synonymous), Trojans are primarily deployed for data theft, industrial or financial espionage, keystroke logging (surveillance) or the capture of screenshots which may reveal proprietary information.

"The threat" Symantec averred, "was written by the same authors (or those that have access to the Stuxnet source code) and appears to have been created since the last Stuxnet file was recovered."

The malware, which began popping-up on the networks of several European firms, captured lists of running processes, account and domain information, network drives, user keystrokes and screenshots from active sessions and did so by using a valid, not a forged certificate, stolen from the Taipei-based firm, C-Media.

Whereas Stuxnet, believed to be a co-production of U.S. and Israeli cyber-saboteurs, was a weaponized virus programmed to destroy Iran's civilian nuclear power infrastructure by targeting centrifuges that enrich uranium, Duqu is a stealthy bit of spy kit that filches data from manufacturers who produce systems that control oil pipelines, water systems and other critical infrastructure.

Sergey Golovanov, a malware expert at Kaspersky Labs told Forbes that Duqu is "is likely the brainchild of a government security apparatus. And it's that government's best work yet."

Speaking from Moscow, Golovanov told Forbes in a telephone interview that "right now were are pretty sure that it is the next generation of Stuxnet."

"We are pretty sure that Duqu is a government cyber tool and are 70% sure it is coming from the same source as Stuxnet," Golovanov said.

"The victims' computer systems were infected several days ago. Whatever it is," Golovanov noted, "it is still in those systems, and still scanning for information. But what exactly it is scanning for, we don't know. It could be gathering internal information for encryption devices. We only know that it is data mining right now, but we don't know what kind of data and to what end it is collecting it."

Whom, pray tell, would have "access to Stuxnet source code"?

While no government has claimed ownership of Stuxnet, IT experts told Forbes "with 100% certainty it was a government agency who created it."

Suspects include cryptologists at the National Security Agency, or as is more likely given the outsourcing of intelligence work by the secret state, a combination of designers drawn from NSA, "black world" privateers from large defense firms along with specialists from Israel's cryptologic division, Unit 8200, operating from the Israeli nuclear weapons lab at the Dimona complex, as The New York Times disclosed.

Analyst George Smith noted: "Stuxnet was widely distributed to many computer security experts. Many of them do contract work for government agencies, labor that would perhaps require a variety of security clearances and which would involve doing what would be seen by others to be black hat in nature. When that happened all bets were off."

Smith averred, "once a thing is in world circulation it is not protected or proprietary property."

While one cannot demonstrably prove that Duqu is the product of one or another secret state satrapy, one can reasonably inquire: who has the means, motive and opportunity for launching this particular bit of nastiness into the wild?

"Duqu's purpose," Symantec researchers inform us, "is to gather intelligence data and assets from entities, such as industrial control system manufacturers, in order to more easily conduct a future attack against another third party."

In other words, while Stuxnet was programmed to destroy industrial systems, Duqu is an espionage tool that will enable attackers "looking for information such as design documents that could help them mount a future attack on an industrial control facility."

Although it can be argued, as Smith does, that "source code for malware has never been secure," and "always becomes something coveted by many, often in direct proportion to its fame," it also can't be ruled out that military-intelligence agencies or corporate clones with more than a dog or two in the "cyberwar" hunt wouldn't be very interested in obtaining a Trojan that clips "industrial design" information from friend and foe alike.

Black Programs

The circulation of malicious code such as Duqu's is highly destabilizing. Considering that the U.S. Defense Department now considers computer sabotage originating in another country the equivalent to an act of war for which a military response is appropriate, the world is on dangerous new ground.

Speaking with MIT's Technology Review, Ronald Deibert, the director of Citizen Lab, a University of Toronto think tank that researches cyberwarfare, censorship and espionage, told the publication that "in the context of the militarization of cyberspace, policymakers around the world should be concerned."

Indeed, given the fact that it is the United States that is now the biggest proliferator in the so-called cyber "arms race," and that billions of dollars are being spent by Washington to secure such weapons, recent history is not encouraging.

With shades of 9/11, the anthrax mailings and the Iraq invasion as a backdrop, one cannot rule out that a provocative act assigned to an "official enemy" by ruling elites just might originate from inside the U.S. security complex itself and serve as a convenient pretext for some future war.

A hint of what the Pentagon is up to came in the form of a controlled leak to The Washington Post.

Last spring, we were informed that "the Pentagon has developed a list of cyber-weapons and -tools, including viruses that can sabotage an adversary's critical networks, to streamline how the United States engages in computer warfare."

The list of "approved weapons" or "fires" are indicative of the military's intention to integrate "cyberwar" capabilities into its overall military doctrine.

According to Ellen Nakashima, the "classified list of capabilities has been in use for several months and has been approved by other agencies, including the CIA."

The Post reported that the new "framework clarifies, for instance, that the military needs presidential authorization to penetrate a foreign computer network and leave a cyber-virus that can be activated later."

On the other hand, and here's where Duqu may enter the frame, the "military does not need such approval, however, to penetrate foreign networks for a variety of other activities. These include studying the cyber-capabilities of adversaries or examining how power plants or other networks operate."

Additionally, Nakashima wrote, Pentagon cyberwarriors "can also, without presidential authorization, leave beacons to mark spots for later targeting by viruses, the official said."

As part of Washington's on-going commitment to the rule of law and human rights, as the recent due process-free drone assassination of American citizen Anwar Al-Awlaki, followed by that of his teenage son and the revenge killing of former Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi by--surprise!--Al Qaeda-linked militias funded by the CIA clearly demonstrate, the "use of any cyber-weapon would have to be proportional to the threat, not inflict undue collateral damage and avoid civilian casualties."

Try selling that to the more than 3,600 people killed or injured by CIA drone strikes, as Pakistan Body Count reported, since our Nobel laureate ascended to his Oval Office throne.

As George Mason University researchers Jerry Brito and Tate Watkins described in their recent paper, Loving the Cyber Bomb? The Dangers of Threat Inflation in Cybersecurity Policy, despite overheated "rhetoric of 'cyber doom' employed by proponents of increased federal intervention," there is a lack of "clear evidence of a serious threat that can be verified by the public."

However, as Brito and Watkins warned, "the United States may be witnessing a bout of threat inflation similar to that seen in the run-up to the Iraq War," one where "a cyber-industrial complex is emerging, much like the military-industrial complex of the Cold War. This complex may serve to not only supply cybersecurity solutions to the federal government, but to drum up demand for them as well."

A "demand" which will inevitably feed the production, proliferation and deployment of a host of viral attack tools (Stuxnet) and assorted spybots (Duqu) that can and will be used by America's shadow warriors and well-connected corporate spies seeking to get a leg-up on the competition.

While evidence of "a serious threat" may be lacking, and while proponents of increased "cybersecurity" spending advanced "no evidence ... that opponents have 'mapped vulnerabilities' and 'planned attacks'," Brito and Watkins noted there is growing evidence these are precisely the policies being pursued by Washington.

Why might that be the case?

As a declining imperialist Empire possessing formidable military and technological capabilities, researcher Stephen Graham has pointed out in Cities Under Siege: The New Military Urbanism, the United States has embarked on a multibillion dollar program "to militarize the world's global electronic infrastructures" with a stated aim to "gain access to, and control over, any and all networked computers, anywhere on Earth."

Graham writes that "the sorts of on-the-ground realities that result from attacks on ordinary civilian infrastructure are far from the abstract niceties portrayed in military theory."

Indeed, as "the experiences of Iraq and Gaza forcefully remind us," robotized drone attacks and already-existent cyberwar capabilities buried in CIA and Pentagon black programs demonstrate that "the euphemisms of theory distract from the hard fact that targeting essential infrastructure in highly urbanized societies kills the weak, the old and the ill just as surely as carpet bombing."

A Glimpse Inside the Complex

In the wake of the HBGary hack by Anonymous earlier this year, the secrecy-shredding web site Public Intelligence released a 2009 Defense Department contract proposal from the firm.

Among other things, it revealed that the Pentagon is standing-up offensive programs that "examine the architecture, engineering, functionality, interface and interoperability of Cyber Warfare systems, services and capabilities at the tactical, operational and strategic levels, to include all enabling technologies."

HBGary, and one can assume other juiced defense contractors, are planning "operations and requirements analysis, concept formulation and development, feasibility demonstrations and operational support."

"This will include," according to the leaked proposal, "efforts to analyze and engineer operational, functional and system requirements in order to establish national, theater and force level architecture and engineering plans, interface and systems specifications and definitions, implementation, including hardware acquisition for turnkey systems."

Indeed, the company will "perform analyses of existing and emerging Operational and Functional Requirements at the force, theater, Combatant Commands (COCOM) and national levels to support the formulation, development and assessment of doctrine, strategy, plans, concepts of operations, and tactics, techniques and procedures in order to provide the full spectrum of Cyber Warfare and enabling capabilities to the warfighter."

During the course of their analysis Symantec learned that Duqu "uses HTTP and HTTPS to communicate with a command-and-control (C&C) server that at the time of writing is still operational."

"The attackers were able to download additional executables through the C&C server, including an infostealer that can perform actions such as enumerating the network, recording keystrokes, and gathering system information. The information is logged to a lightly encrypted and compressed local file, which then must be exfiltrated out."

To where, and more importantly by whom was that information "exfiltrated" is of course, the $64,000 question.

A working hypothesis may be provided by additional documents published by Public Intelligence.

According to a cyberwar proposal to the Pentagon by General Dynamics and HBGary, "Project C" is described as a program for the development "of a software application targeting the Windows XP Operating System that, when executed, loads and enables a covert kernel-mode implant that will exfiltrate a file from disk (or other remotely called commands) over a connected serial port to a remote device."

We're informed that Project C's "primary objectives" was the design of an implant "that is clearly able to exfiltrate an on-disk file, opening of the CD tray, blinking of the keyboard lights, opening and deleting a file, and a memory buffer exfiltration over a connected serial line to a collection station."

"As part of the exploit delivery package," HBGary and General Dynamics told their prospective customers, presumably the NSA, that "a usermode trojan will assist in the loading of the implant, which will clearly demonstrate the full capability of the implant."

Duqu, according to Symantec researchers, "uses a custom C&C protocol, primarily downloading or uploading what appear to be JPG files. However, in addition to transferring dummy JPG files, additional data for exfiltration is encrypted and sent, and likewise received."

While we don't know which firms were involved in the design of Stuxnet and now, Duqu, we do know thanks to Anonymous that HBGary had a Stuxnet copy, shared it amongst themselves and quite plausibly, given what we've learned about Duqu, Stuxnet source code may have been related to the above-mentioned "Project C."

Kevin Haley, Symantec's director of product management told The Register that "the people behind Stuxnet are not done. They've continued to do different things. This was not a one-shot deal."

Un protagoniste inattendu et insaisissable a surgi dans l'enquête des juges Renaud Van Ruymbeke et Roger Le Loire sur les dessous des ventes d'armes du gouvernement Balladur. Il s'agit d'un fantôme. Son nom : Akim Rouichi, mort il y a seize ans. Comme l'a révélé Le Pointde cette semaine, ce militant associatif de Garges-lès-Gonesse (Val d'Oise) avait été chargé d'espionner des membres de la campagne présidentielle d'Edouard Balladur pour le compte des réseaux chiraquiens, en 1995, selon des témoignages recueillis ces dernières semaines par les policiers de la Division nationale des investigations financières (Dnif).

Akim Rouichi avait-il fait des découvertes compromettantes sur Nicolas Sarkozy et sur d'autres ministres du gouvernement Balladur? Son frère, François Rouichi, qui a décidé de briser plus de quinze ans de silence, le laisse entendre aujourd'hui à Mediapart.

Ancien responsable de l'UMP à Garges-lès-Gonesse, François Rouichi assure qu'il avait surpris, en 1995, une conversation de son frère avec l'un de ses "officiers traitant" des Renseignements généraux (RG) durant laquelle il évoquait «l'autre de Neuilly», avant de citer son nom — Nicolas Sarkozy —, comme étant impliqué dans les troubles dessous financiers des ventes d'armes du gouvernement Balladur. Et il rapporte que son frère avait alors fait état de l'existence d'une société au Luxembourg, surnommée «la tirelire», qui aurait été liée à M. Sarkozy.

Auteur d'écoutes téléphoniques clandestines compromettantes pour plusieurs personnalités du camp Balladur -écoutes que les enquêteurs recherchent activement depuis plusieurs jours-, Akim Rouichi a été retrouvé pendu en août 1995 au domicile de l'une de ses sœurs, à Pierrefitte-sur-Seine (Seine-Saint-Denis).

A rebours des conclusions de la police et de la justice, sa famille n'a jamais cru que le jeune homme s'était donné la mort. Elle continue aujourd'hui de penser qu'il a été "suicidé", peut-être à cause des missions secrètes dont il a été chargé en pleine guerre homérique entre deux clans de la droite, les chiraquiens et les balladuriens.

D'après les éléments recueillis par les policiers, Akim Rouichi aurait été "traité" par deux anciens agents des services de renseignements français, l'un aux RG, l'autre à la DST, qui travaillaient en sous-main pour le clan Chirac. Pour mener à bien sa mission clandestine, il s'était vu confier tout l'attirail du parfait espion : scanner fréquentiel, numéros des téléphones portables visés, codes de déchiffrement pour les appareils cryptés et les agendas des "cibles".

Le jeune homme serait ainsi parvenu à surprendre pendant plusieurs mois les conversations de François Léotard, alors ministre de la défense du gouvernement Balladur, de son conseiller spécial Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres, de Charles Pasqua, ministre de l'intérieur, de l'ancien patron de Thomson, Alain Gomez, et de Jacques Douffiagues, ancien président d'un office d'armement, la Sofresa, récemment décédé.

Des écoutes clandestines sur des ministres

Ces personnalités sont au cœur des investigations des juges Van Ruymbeke et Le Loire. Depuis bientôt un an, les deux magistrats enquêtent sur l'existence, au sein du gouvernement Balladur, d'un système de détournement d'argent lié à deux marchés d'armement - l'un avec le Pakistan, l'autre avec l'Arabie saoudite - mis en place fin 1994 dans le but de financer de manière occulte la campagne présidentielle de l'ancien premier ministre. Voire, pour certains, de s'enrichir personnellement.

Plusieurs personnes sont aujourd'hui mises en examen dans ce dossier qui remonte jusqu'à l'Elysée, parmi lesquelles le marchand d'armesZiad Takieddine, l'un des principaux intermédiaires sur les ventes d'armes incriminées, et deux intimes de Nicolas Sarkozy, à l'époque ministre du budget du gouvernement : son ancien collaborateur à Bercy, Thierry Gaubert, et l'ancien directeur de cabinet de M. Balladur, Nicolas Bazire, qui fut témoin de mariage du président de la République avec Carla Bruni, en 2008.

Au moins deux témoins directs ont affirmé ces derniers jours sur procès-verbal aux policiers de la Dnif avoir entendu le fruit de ces écoutes illégales d'Akim Rouichi. Il s'agit de François Rouichi, le frère de l'espion improvisé, et Jean-Charles Brisard, ancien responsable de la cellule "Jeunes" de la campagne d'Edouard Balladur.

En effet, en avril 1995, se disant «lâché» par les réseaux chiraquiens, Akim Rouichi est venu monnayer son trésor clandestin aux équipes d'Edouard Balladur. Arrivé au siège de campagne, rue de Grenelle, le jeune homme avait demandé à voir le directeur de la campagne, Nicolas Bazire. Il fut orienté ailleurs.

Et c'est finalement Jean-Charles Brisard qui l'a reçu, a pris connaissance de son histoire folle et a écouté des extraits de ses enregistrements pirates, en présence d'un témoin, dit-il aujourd'hui à Mediapart, avant de rédiger une note adressée Nicolas Bazire.

«J'ai reçu à sa demande il y a quelques jours une personne dénomée Akim Rouichi (...). Celui-ci nous a présenté un ordinateur contenant des enregistrements sonores de conversations téléphoniques interceptées. Ces enregistrements concernaient notamment MM. François Léotard et Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres, ainsi que plusieurs dirigeants d'entreprises d'armement», peut-on lire dans cette note aujourd'hui entre les mains des policiers.

Le document, daté du 5 avril 1995, a été publié par Le Pointdans son édition du 27 octobre:

Les révélations du frère

«Je n'ai eu aucun retour sur ma note, malgré le fait que je sollicitais des instructions», explique M. Brisard à Mediapart, qui confirme avoir reconnu, stupéfait, les voix de MM. Léotard et Donnedieu de Vabres dans les enregistrements qu'il a pu entendre. Le contrat des sous-marins Agosta vendus au Pakistan, au cœur de l'enquête des juges, et une histoire de livraison de missiles à l'Iran viaChypre, alimentaient certaines conversations, selon Jean-Charles Brisard. Devenu consultant international spécialisé dans le terrorisme, il dit toutefois n'avoir pas entendu parler de commissions occultes dans les extraits qu'il a écoutés.

Ce n'est pas le cas de François Rouichi, frère et confident d'Akim, que Mediapart a rencontré à deux reprises les 27 et 28 octobre. «Je me souviens très bien d'une discussion entre Pasqua et Léotard. L'un demandait à l'autre si le contrat était signé et s'il allait toucher sa commission. L'autre lui a dit que oui. Puis le premier a dit qu'il ne fallait surtout pas qu'un troisième soit au courant, comme s'ils se faisaient de l'argent sur le dos de quelqu'un», avance aujourd'hui le quadragénaire, ancien directeur d'un centre social.

Selon son récit, Akim Rouichi s'est très rapidement pris au jeu et, au fil des mois, aurait même été destinataires, grâce à ses « sources » policières, de documents compromettants sur les ventes d'armes françaises. Pour quelles raisons précises ? François Rouichi ne le sait pas.

Les années ont passé et les souvenirs ne sont pas toujours très nets dans son esprit. Il évoque néanmoins l'existence d'un document de la Sofresa, office d'armement qui a eu à gérer le versement au réseau Takieddine des commissions occultes du contrat des frégates saoudiennes Sawari 2, et d'un autre document lié, lui, à une société luxembourgeoise. «Mon frère me les a montrés», jure-t-il.

Puis il lâche ce qui pourrait ressembler à une bombe, si ces allégations venaient à être confirmées. «C'est là que mon frère a évoqué, alors qu'il était au téléphone avec une de ses sources aux RG, un homme qu'il appelait "l'autre de Neuilly", avec un nom à consonance étrangère qui venait de l'Est. Je pensais à un nom polonais. Puis il a cité son nom. Il l'a cité au moment où il a eu entre les mains ce document sur une société au Luxembourg, qu'il appelait "la tirelire"»,confie François Rouichi. M. Rouichi avoue qu'il ne savait pas à l'époque qui était Nicolas Sarkozy. Les choses, depuis, ont changé...

«Le document comportait un texte et un chiffrage, cela apparaissait comme une sorte de compte bancaire. Mon frère l'appelait "la tirelire". L'"autre de Neuilly" était dedans, d'après mon frère», assure François Rouichi, qui ne se sait pas si Nicolas Sarkozy a fait partie des personnalités écoutées.Aucun élément matériel ne vient aujourd'hui corroborer ce témoignage, les enquêteurs recherchant les écoutes pirates réalisées en 1995.

Vrai ou faux suicide ?

C'est la première fois que François Rouichi parle de «l'autre de Neuilly», dit-il. Il n'en avait rien dit aux policiers qui l'ont entendu sur l'affaire, le 13 octobre. Il a alors hésité à se confier, assure-t-il à Mediapart, mais a préféré «fermer sa gueule». «J'avais peur, glisse-t-il. Cela fait quinze ans que quand on parle de cette histoire, on nous prend pour des fous ou des menteurs. Aujourd'hui il faut que je le dise. Devant les policiers, j'avais la peur de citer quelqu'un qui est peut-être au-dessus de tout. Mais je dois le faire pour mon frère et pour que cette personne (Nicolas Sarkozy, ndlr) sache que quelqu'un sait».

Il se dit prêt aujourd'hui à coucher sur procès-verbal ces nouvelles confidences, s'il venait à être convoqué de nouveau par les enquêteurs.

L'apparition d'une société luxembourgeoise dans les propos de M. Rouichi est pour le moins troublante.Selon un rapport de la police luxembourgeoise de janvier 2010, Nicolas Sarkozy, ministre du budget, et Nicolas Bazire, alors à Matignon, auraient en effet supervisé et validé la création au Luxembourg d'une société-écran, baptisée Heine, par laquelle ont justement transité les commissions occultes du réseau Takieddine sur le contrat des sous-marins pakistanais.

Or, Ziad Takieddine est soupçonné d'avoir redistribué une partie de cet argent noir pour des financements politiques.

Dans leur enquête qui prend désormais des allures de thriller invraisemblable, les juges sont donc partis à la recherche des enregistrements clandestins d'Akim Rouichi. Car selon François Rouichi, son frère avait fait des copies sur des disquettes informatiques. «Ces disquettes ont été remises d'une part à nos avocats, du cabinet Lombard, et d'autre part à la secrétaire de Jean-Luc Mano, alors directeur de l'information à Antenne 2, qui n'en a rien fait», explique-t-il.

Jean-Luc Mano, cité par Le Point, dément catégoriquement. Quant au cabinet Lombard, il dément aussi, par la voix de Me Olivier Baratelli, contacté par Mediapart. «Nous n'avons jamais entendu parlé de ces enregistrements», affirme l'avocat.

Le mystère reste donc entier ; et ce n'est pas le seul. Les magistrats ont également chargé les policiers de la Dnif d'éclaircir les circonstances de la mort d'Akim Rouichi.

La famille Rouichi, persuadée qu'Akim a été "suicidé", avait déjà chargé en 1996 le cabinet de l'avocat Paul Lombard de déposer plainte pour «assassinat» devant le doyen des juges du tribunal de grande instance de Bobigny.

« La République a les pieds dans le sang ».

Une instruction, confiée au juge Noël Miniconi, avait finalement débouché deux ans plus tard sur un non-lieu et conclu au suicide d'Akim Rouichi, notamment sur la foi d'un rapport de l'Institut médico-légal de Paris du 29 août 1995 qui se concluait ainsi : «Il résulte que la mort de M. ROUICHI Akim est consécutive à sa pendaison. L'autopsie n'a pas relevé d'éléments infirmant la thèse du suicide».

Entendue le 21 janvier 1997 par le juge Miniconi, l'une des sœurs d'Akim Rouichi, Suzanne (aujourd'hui décédée), avait cependant évoqué les enregistrements clandestins sur le camp Balladur et s'était étonnée que «que le cartable de son frère soit vide alors qu'il contenait des disquettes», selon le procès-verbal de son audition obtenu par Mediapart. Les révélations de la jeune femme ne semblent pas avoir beaucoup piqué la curiosité du magistrat, à la lecture du PV de deux pages.

«Il y avait notamment des documents concernant des conversations téléphoniques entre M. Pasqua et M. Léotard, faisant état de missiles vendus à l'étranger, que mon frère avait pu écouter, avait pourtant assuré le témoin devant le juge. Mon frère avait reçu la visite de fonctionnaires du ministère de l'intérieur lui demandant de ne pas en parler (...) C'est à la suite de ces problèmes d'écoutes que mon frère m'a dit qu'il craignait pour sa vie, qu'il se sentait épié».

«Convaincue qu'on a aidé (son) frère à mourir», Suzanne Rouichi avait indiqué au juge ne pas savoir si la mort de son frère était directement liée aux écoutes ou à un différend avec une famille de leur quartier.

Mais pour Suzanne, comme pour sa mère, Rachida, ou ses frères, une chose semble certaine : Akim ne s'est pas suicidé. Deux éléments les interpellent. D'abord, l'une des lettres retrouvées sur les lieux de la découverte du corps, adressée à une certaine Sophie (qui serait l'ex-secrétaire de Jean-Luc Mano), ne comporte aucune faute d'orthographe. «C'est l'écriture de mon frère (...) Il a dû faire des efforts car il n'y a pas de faute alors qu'il en faisait dix à la ligne».

La lettre, qui fait état de problèmes sentimentaux, se termine ainsi : «Je prends le temps de t'écrire avant de partir. Ils m'ont tué et toi tu m'as achevé». François Rouichi est formel, la "Sophie" en question n'a jamais été la petite amie de son frère. Une deuxième lettre a également été retrouvée près du corps. Elle commence par les mots «mes dernières volontés» et comporte la mention «Je regrette le suicide».

Ensuite, Suzanne a dit au juge Miniconi avoir découvert - et photographié - à l'emplacement du cadavre «des traces de sang» et «une grande flaque au sol qui avait coulé jusqu'aux toilettes et des projections aux murs». La mère du d'Akim Rouichi a même évoqué dans le cabinet du magistrat l'existence de «tâches sur le haut des portes».

D'après les résultats d'une expertise médicale en date du 24 novembre 1997, signée par le Dr Jean-Pierre Campana (voir ci-dessous), la flaque en question «évoque les liquide brunâtres qui s'écoulent des corps putréfiés, la décomposition provoquant toujours une liquéfaction de tissus». De fait, le corps d'Akim Rouichi a été découvert plusieurs jours après la pendaison, vraie ou fausse.

«Une flaque de l'importance de celle que l'on voit sur les photographies, à supposer qu'elle était sanguine, aurait impliqué une hémorragie externe très importante et donc une plaie bien visible», précise encore le rapport, dont les constations finales «sont en faveur d'un suicide».

Contacté, le juge de l'époque, Noël Miniconi, aujourd'hui en poste à Lyon, dit se souvenir «difficilement» de l'affaire, mais garde en mémoire qu'il n'y avait «pas d'éléments dans le dossier qui permettaient de conclure à autre chose qu'un suicide».

Pour le frère d'Akim Rouichi, il faut reprendre l'enquête du début. «Mon frère était menacé. Il est allé trop loin dans son "enquête". Ses sources lui avaient demandé d'arrêter. Il ne l'a pas fait. Il soupçonnait l'une d'entre elles de jouer un double jeu. Il avait tellement peur qu'il était allé se planquer chez l'une de nos sœurs, là où on l'a retrouvé pendu», raconte-t-il.

Puis il ajoute : «La République Francaise a les pieds dans le sang».....

Retired CIA sources in Texas tell us that the recent break-in of the Bexar County Court House in San Antonio was not the work of a few drunk French nationals, said to be of Moroccan descent, but part of a larger intelligence operation directed against the United States by a foreign intelligence service, reportedly that of Israel.

On October 22, 2011, WMR reported: "although they broke into a court house and were, allegedly, French citizens of Moroccan descent, charges against three of the five 'tourists' were dropped by Bexar County Magistrate Judge Amalia 'Molly' Cavazos" The decision puzzled the Bexar County Sheriff's office and the county district attorney's office.

The incident at the Bexar County Court House also worries U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee. Cuellar KSAT-TV in San Antonio that the night before the "French" nationals broke into the court house, a Turkish national was detained for suspiciously taking photographs of the old main post office building, which is next to the Alamo. Like the French nationals, the Turkish national was said to be a tourist.

Sources believe the presence of the "French" nationals in the court house was related to the nearby GEOINT Symposium, billed as the nation's largest annual intelligence event, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center was related to the operations of the team at the court house.

The word is that law enforcement and U.S. intelligence are prohibited from arresting and bringing charges against Israeli intelligence agents in the United States, even if the agents are found to be involved in operations that impact on U.S. national security and threaten the safety of American citizens. To pursue Israeli intelligence operations, against an unwritten prohibition, is for an FBI or CIA agent to sign his or her own professional death sentence, with a charge of "anti-Semitism" sealing the fate of anyone who dares challenge the "hands-off" policy on Israeli agents.

We received the following from a veteran U.S. intelligence source in Texas:

"Too many unanswered questions. The charges against the three were dropped by a Magistrate Judge even before the search of the RV was completed. I can't help but wonder if they installed some type of listening devices inside of the Court House? Also, if it is the Court House that I am thinking of, there is a direct line of sight to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. If it is that specific Court House then they could have easily installed a micro-transmitter capable of intercepting signals intelligence from the National Geospatial Intelligence Convention somewhere in the Court House, which has yet to be discovered. Their computers would have the requisite receivers and they could have lingered in the area and picked up intelligence from the convention center. I also find it interesting that the charges were dropped by a Magistrate Judge before the RV was searched and before the computers could have been gone through. The five are probably on their way to whatever their next destination is.

It is a long drive from NY JFK to Miami to pick up one person. Where did they stop on the way? Why did they drive to Miami instead of one person getting a flight from MIA to JFK? How long did it take the four to get to Miami from JFK? When did they make their reservations for the RV in New Jersey? Why did the Feds back off and leave the case to the Bexar County Prosecutor? The Feds could have put a "hold" on the 5 or at a minimum the three. The only conclusion that one can reach is that there are multiple unanswered questions that even a minor league Intel officer would pursue. Did the FBI put GPS tracking on their RV? If not, why not? Nothing about this case stands up to any scrutiny. If three regular people were caught breaking into the exact same Court House they would face charges of 'Breaking and entering,' 'Burglary' or 'Criminal Mischief,' but they would not have all charges dropped. I would be interested if they are being tracked via GPS that could yield a lot of information and prove what they are really up to. No reason not to track them in the first instance."

Israel appears to have learned its lesson from past intelligence exposures on U.S. soil. By using nationals of France and Turkey, both of which have an ample number of sayanim, Jewish collaborators for Israeli intelligence, Israeli consular officials can avoid the diplomatic and public relations fallout, such as what arose after arrests across the country of Israeli "art students," "movers," and mall kiosk vendors. Instead of Israeli diplomats with egg on their faces, that fell to French and Turkish consular officers in Texas. There was also the odd report that the French consulate in Dallas was contacted to handle the matter of the five burglars at the San Antonio Court House. However, the French are represented in Dallas by an Honorary Consul, hardly the sort of individual who would get involved in a potential criminal matter involving French nationals. France maintains a full consulate in Houston.

The five French nationals arrested claimed not to be conversant in English, however, they were all proficient in English. Israelis, when arrested, often claim to not understand English, which results in a delay in interrogations until Israeli diplomatic officials can bail them out.

We also received the following item of interest from intelligence sources in Texas: "This district for U.S. District Courts [Hipolito F. Garcia Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, Southern District of Texas] has more CIA operatives in it than anywhere else in Texas outside of Houston. I am told that. St. Mary's Law School in San Antonio is a major player in security and terror. In reading this story, couple the highest ranking Mossad spy in Texas with that program at St. Mary's."

The case involving a night time break-in of the Bexar County court house in San Antonio is developing into a much more sinister operation as more details become known.

On October 25, 2011, WMR reported: "Retired CIA sources in Texas tell WMR that the recent break-in of the Bexar County Court House in San Antonio was not the work of a few drunk French nationals, said to be of Moroccan descent, but part of a larger intelligence operation directed against the United States by a foreign intelligence service, reportedly that of Israel . . . Sources believe the presence of the "French" nationals in the court house was related to the nearby GEOINT Symposium, billed as the nation's largest annual intelligence event, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center was related to the operations of the team at the court house."

WMR has now been informed by law enforcement sources in Texas of the following concerning the break-in: "[A] further analysis of the photo of the two men walking down the hall in the Bexar County Courthouse: At the top left it indicates:
CH32.10.11.11.1:14AM. As I interpret that data, it is Camera 32 and the photo was taken at 1:14 AM which is consistent with the alleged entry at or about 0100, which means that the photo released to the media is only one of many others and was, by the reports, taken 14 minutes after the alarm on the fire escape went off. Both men are carrying boxes and the front man has what appears to be a pouch hanging from his belt on his right side.

. . . blowing up the photo to 400 percent and tracing the lines on the left arm of the last man and just above the wrist joint, it flares out. He was wearing gloves. The same for the front person. There is a historical “eight hundred pound gorilla” lurking in the background of almost every serious military and diplomatic incident involving Israel, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Greece, Armenia, the Kurds, the Assyrians, and some other players in the Middle East and southeastern Europe. It is a factor that is generally only whispered about at diplomatic receptions, news conferences, and think tank sessions due to the explosiveness and controversial nature of the subject. And it is the secretiveness attached to the subject that has been the reason for so much misunderstanding about the current breakdown in relations between Israel and Turkey, a growing warming of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, and increasing enmity between Saudi Arabia and Iran…

Although known to historians and religious experts, the centuries-old political and economic influence of a group known in Turkish as the “Dönmeh” is only beginning to cross the lips of Turks, Arabs, and Israelis who have been reluctant to discuss the presence in Turkey and elsewhere of a sect of Turks descended from a group of Sephardic Jews who were expelled from Spain during the Spanish Inquisition in the 16th and 17th centuries. These Jewish refugees from Spain were welcomed to settle in the Ottoman Empire and over the years they converted to a mystical sect of Islam that eventually mixed Jewish Kabbala and Islamic Sufi semi-mystical beliefs into a sect that eventually championed secularism in post-Ottoman Turkey. It is interesting that “Dönmeh” not only refers to the Jewish “untrustworthy converts” to Islam in Turkey but it is also a derogatory Turkish word for a transvestite, or someone who is claiming to be someone they are not.

The Donmeh sect of Judaism was founded in the 17th century by Rabbi Sabbatai Zevi, a Kabbalist who believed he was the Messiah but was forced to convert to Islam by Sultan Mehmet IV, the Ottoman ruler. Many of the rabbi’s followers, known as Sabbateans, but also “crypto-Jews,” publicly proclaimed their Islamic faith but secretly practiced their hybrid form of Judaism, which was unrecognized by mainstream Jewish rabbinical authorities. Because it was against their beliefs to marry outside their sect, the Dönmeh created a rather secretive sub-societal clan.

The Dönmeh rise to power in Turkey

Many Dönmeh, along with traditional Jews, became powerful political and business leaders in Salonica. It was this core group of Dönmeh, which organized the secret Young Turks, also known as the Committee of Union and Progress, the secularists who deposed Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamid II in the 1908 revolution, proclaimed the post-Ottoman Republic of Turkey after World War I, and who instituted a campaign that stripped Turkey of much of its Islamic identity after the fall of the Ottomans. Abdulhamid II was vilified by the Young Turks as a tyrant, but his only real crime appears to have been to refuse to meet Zionist leader Theodore Herzl during a visit to Constantinople in 1901 and reject Zionist and Dönmeh offers of money in return for the Zionists to be granted control of Jerusalem.

Like other leaders who have crossed the Zionists, Sultan Adulhamid II appears to have sealed his fate with the Dönmeh with this statement to his Ottoman court: “Advise Dr. Herzl not to take any further steps in his project. I cannot give away even a handful of the soil of this land for it is not my own, it belongs to the entire Islamic nation. The Islamic nation fought jihad for the sake of this land and had watered it with their blood. The Jews may keep their money and millions. If the Islamic Khalifate state is one day destroyed then they will be able to take Palestine without a price! But while I am alive, I would rather push a sword into my body than see the land of Palestine cut and given away from the Islamic state.” After his ouster by Ataturk’s Young Turk Dönmeh in 1908, Abdulhamid II was jailed in the Donmeh citadel of Salonica. He died in Constantinople in 1918, three years after Ibn Saud agreed to a Jewish homeland in Palestine and one year after Lord Balfour deeded Palestine away to the Zionists in his letter to Baron Rothschild.

One of the Young Turk leaders in Salonica was Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey. When Greece achieved sovereignty over Salonica in 1913, many Dönmeh, unsuccessful at being re-classified Jewish, moved to Constantinople, later re-named Istanbul. Others moved to Izmir, Bursa, and Ataturk’s newly-proclaimed capital and future seat of Ergenekon power, Ankara.

Some texts suggest that the Dönmeh numbered no more than 150,000 and were mainly found in the army, government, and business. However, other experts suggest that the Dönmeh may have represented 1.5 million Turks and were even more powerful than believed by many and extended to every facet of Turkish life. One influential Donmeh, Tevfik Rustu Arak, was a close friend and adviser to Ataturk and served as Turkey’s Foreign Minister from 1925 to 1938.

Ataturk, who was reportedly himself a Dönmeh, ordered that Turks abandon their own Muslim-Arabic names. The name of the first Christian emperor of Rome, Constantine, was erased from the largest Turkish city, Constantinople. The city became Istanbul, after the Ataturk government in 1923 objected to the traditional name. There have been many questions about Ataturk’s own name, since “Mustapha Kemal Ataturk” was a pseudonym. Some historians have suggested that Ataturk adopted his name because he was a descendant of none other than Rabbi Zevi, the self-proclaimed Messiah of the Dönmeh! Ataturk also abolished Turkey’s use of the Arabic script and forced the country to adopt the western alphabet.

Modern Turkey: a secret Zionist state controlled by the Dönmeh

Ataturk’s suspected strong Jewish roots, information about which was suppressed for decades by a Turkish government that forbade anything critical of the founder of modern Turkey, began bubbling to the surface, first, mostly outside of Turkey and in publications written by Jewish authors. The 1973 book, The Secret Jews, by Rabbi Joachim Prinz, maintains that Ataturk and his finance minister, Djavid Bey, were both committed Dönmeh and that they were in good company because “too many of the Young Turks in the newly formed revolutionary Cabinet prayed to Allah, but had their real prophet [Sabbatai Zevi, the Messiah of Smyrna].” In The Forward of January 28, 1994, Hillel Halkin wrote in The New York Sun that Ataturk recited the Jewish Shema Yisrael (“Hear O Israel”), saying that it was “my prayer too.” The information is recounted from an autobiography by journalist Itamar Ben-Avi, who claims Ataturk, then a young Turkish army captain, revealed he was Jewish in a Jerusalem hotel bar one rainy night during the winter of 1911. In addition, Ataturk attended the Semsi Effendi grade school in Salonica, run by a Dönmeh named Simon Zevi. Halkin wrote in the New York Sun article about an email he received from a Turkish colleague: “I now know – know (and I haven’t a shred of doubt) – that Ataturk’s father’s family was indeed of Jewish stock.”

It was Ataturk’s and the Young Turks’ support for Zionism, the creation of a Jewish homeland in Palestine, after World War I and during Nazi rule in Europe that endeared Turkey to Israel and vice versa. An article in The Forward of May 8, 2007, revealed that Dönmeh dominated Turkish leadership “from the president down, as well as key diplomats . . . and a great part of Turkey’s military, cultural, academic, economic, and professional elites” kept Turkey out of a World War II alliance with Germany, and deprived Hitler of a Turkish route to the Baku oilfields.” In his book, The Donme: Jewish Converts, Muslim Revolutionaries and Secular Turks, Professor Marc David Baer wrote that many advanced to exalted positions in the Sufi religious orders.

Israel has always been reluctant to describe the Turkish massacre of the Armenians by the Turks in 1915 as “genocide.” It has always been believed that the reason for Israel’s reticence was not to upset Israel’s close military and diplomatic ties with Turkey. However, more evidence is being uncovered that the Armenian genocide was largely the work of the Dönmeh leadership of the Young Turks. Historians like Ahmed Refik, who served as an intelligence officer in the Ottoman army, averred that it was the aim of the Young Turks to destroy the Armenians, who were mostly Christian. The Young Turks, under Ataturk’s direction, also expelled Greek Christians from Turkish cities and attempted to commit a smaller-scale genocide of the Assyrians, who were also mainly Christian.

One Young Turk from Salonica, Mehmet Talat, was the official who carried out the genocide of the Armenians and Assyrians. A Venezuelan mercenary who served in the Ottoman army, Rafael de Nogales Mendez, noted in his annals of the Armenian genocide that Talat was known as the “renegade Hebrew of Salonica.” Talat was assassinated in Germany in 1921 by an Armenian whose entire family was lost in the genocide ordered by the “renegade Hebrew.” It is believed by some historians of the Armenian genocide that the Armenians, known as good businessmen, were targeted by the business-savvy Dönmeh because they were considered to be commercial competitors.

It is not, therefore, the desire to protect the Israeli-Turkish alliance that has caused Israel to eschew any interest in pursuing the reasons behind the Armenian genocide, but Israel’s and the Dönmeh’s knowledge that it was the Dönmeh leadership of the Young Turks that not only murdered hundreds of thousands of Armenians and Assyrians but who also stamped out Turkey’s traditional Muslim customs and ways. Knowledge that it was Dönmeh, in a natural alliance with the Zionists of Europe, who were responsible for the deaths of Armenian and Assyrian Christians, expulsion from Turkey of Greek Orthodox Christians, and the cultural and religious eradication of Turkish Islamic traditions, would issue forth in the region a new reality. Rather than Greek and Turkish Cypriots living on a divided island, Armenians holding a vendetta against the Turks, and Greeks and Turks feuding over territory, all the peoples attacked by the Dönmeh would realize that they had a common foe that was their actual persecutor.

Challenging Dönmeh rule: Turkey’s battle against the Ergenekon

It is the purging of the Kemalist adherents of Ataturk and his secular Dönmeh regime that is behind the investigation of the Ergenekon conspiracy in Turkey. Ergenekon’s description matches up completely with the Dönmeh presence in Turkey’s diplomatic, military, judicial, religious, political, academic, business, and journalist hierarchy. Ergenekon attempted to stop the reforms instituted by successive non-Dönmeh Turkish leaders, including the re-introduction of traditional Turkish Islamic customs and rituals, by planning a series of coups, some successful like that which deposed Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan’s Refah (Welfare) Islamist government in 1996 and some unsuccessful, like OPERATION SLEDGEHEMMER, which was aimed at deposing Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2003. Some Islamist-leaning reformists, including Turkish President Turgut Ozal and Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit, died under suspicious circumstances. Deposed democratically-elected Prime Minister Adnan Menderes was hanged in 1961, following a military coup.

American politicians and journalists, whose knowledge of the history of countries like Turkey and the preceding Ottoman Empire, is often severely lacking, have painted the friction between Israel’s government and the Turkish government of Prime Minister Erdogan as based on Turkey’s drift to Islamism and the Arab world. Far from it, Erdogan and his Justice and Development Party (AKP) seem to have finally seen a way to break free from the domination and cruelty of the Dönmeh, whether in the form of Kemalist followers of Ataturk or nationalist schemers and plotters in Ergenekon. But with Turkey’s “Independence Day” has come vitriol from the Dönmeh and their natural allies in Israel and the Israel Lobby in the United States and Europe. Turkey as a member of the European Union was fine for Europe as long as the Dönmeh remained in charge and permitted Turkey’s wealth to be looted by central bankers like has occurred in Greece.

When Israel launched its bloody attack on the Turkish Gaza aid vessel, the Mavi Marmara, on May 31, 2010, the reason was not so much the ship’s running of the Israeli blockade of Gaza. The brutality of the Israelis in shooting unarmed Turks and one Turkish-American, some at point blank range, according to a UN report, indicated that Israel was motivated by something else: vengeance and retaliation for the Turkish government’s crackdown on Ergenekon, the purging of the Turkish military and intelligence senior ranks of Dönmeh, and reversing the anti-Muslim religious and cultural policies set down by the Dönmeh’s favorite son, Ataturk, some ninety years before. In effect, the Israeli attack on the Mavi Marmara was in retaliation for Turkey’s jailing of several top Turkish military officers, journalists, and academics, all accused of being part of the Ergenekon plot to overthrow the AKP government in 2003. Hidden in the Ergenekon coup plot is that the Dönmeh and Ergenekon are connected through their history of being Kemalists, ardent secularists, pro-Israeli, and pro-Zionist.

With tempers now flaring between Iran on one side and Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United States on the other, as the result of a dubious claim by U.S. law enforcement that Iran was planning to carry out the assassination of the Saudi ambassador to the United States on American soil, the long-standing close, but secretive relationship between Israel and Saudi Arabia is coming to the forefront. The Israeli-Saudi connection had flourished during OPERATION DESERT STORM, when both countries were on the receiving end of Saddam Hussein’s Scud missiles....

Britain's intelligence services are taking off the gloves over Mossad's high-level penetration of the British government. As a result of leaks to the press, one high-level Tory Cabinet minister, Defense Secretary Liam Fox, was forced to resign over his granting of access to classified defense information to his reputed homosexual love partner and Israeli-connected lobbyist Adam Werritty. On October 16, the Independent on Sunday (IOS), reported that Werritty arranged for a high-level 2009 dinner meeting in Herzliya, Israel, the location of Mossad headquarters, between Fox, British ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould, and top Mossad officials. The major item on the menu was the overthrow of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The IOS reported that Werritty was working closely with neocons in the United States to carry out the Iranian operation.

Werritty, who falsely passed himself off as Fox's chief of staff, also attended high-level meetings between Fox and government officials of Sri Lanka and Dubai. In addition, Werritty used his connections to Fox to approach the governments of South Sudan and Iraq, as well as the Libyan rebel leadership in Benghazi, for lucrative contracts.

According to The Guardian, Werritty used a charity called Atlantic Bridge, which succeeded an entity known as Security Futures, to fund his lobbying operations. Atlantic Bridge, via Pargav Ltd., a not-for-profit firm set up by Werritty, was partly funded by pro-Israeli lobbyist and head of the British Israel Communications and Research Centre (BICOM) Poju Zabludowicz, a Finnish Jew based in London who owns Liechtenstein-based Tamares Investment Group, formerly a major investor in casinos in Las Vegas with its partner Barrick Gaming Corporation. A former vice chairman of BICOM, Michael Lewis, is reported by The Guardian to have made payments directly to Pargav, Atlantic Bridge, and Fox. Werritty's travel expenses were paid for from Pargav funds.

Another major donor to Pargav, according to The Guardian, was Good Governance Group (G3), a private intelligence firm started by South African Andries Pienaar, formerly with the CIA-connected Kroll special investigations firm. A number of ex-MI6 officers work for G3.

A U.S. branch of Atlantic Bridge was set up by the right-wing Republican entity American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), which is backed by major U.S. corporations, including Koch Industries. The U.S. Atlantic Bridge was a contrivance to launder U.S. corporate funds to Tory politicians in the U.K. in the same manner it laundered campaign funds for Tea party candidates in the Republican Party.

Zabludowicz, whose father founded the Israeli weapons firm Soltam, which mainly manufactured mortars, is the chairman of Pocal Industries, Inc. of Scranton, Pennsylvania, which supplied mortars to the U.S. military.

Werritty was an important British liaison between Fox, American neocons and Israel supporters, and the Republican-controlled Tea Party. During the 2009 trip to Herzliya, Werritty passed himself off as "Dr. Adam Werritty, Advisor, Office of Shadow Defense Secretary; UK Executive Director, The Atlantic Bridge." Werritty was invited by an entity called the Atlantic Forum of Israel.

Michael Hintze, the chief of the Convertible & Quantitative Strategies (CQS) hedge fund in London and a former Australian Army captain who served as the head of equity trading for Goldman Sachs before starting CQS, provided Werritty with an office at CQS and provided the CQS private jet to fly Fox and Werritty to the United States in May. Hintze also serves as a papal knight in the Order of St. Gregory. The new Defense Secretary, Philip Hammond, who has praised his predecessor, has been hosted by Hintze at plush political fundraising dinners.

Another one of Fox's "advisers" was identified by the Daily Mail as John Falk, an American who is managing director of Kestral-USA in Washington, DC. Kestral-USA is a branch of the Pakistan-based Kestral Holdings, which was a sub-contractor in Pakistan to the former Blackwater, now known as Xe Services. Kestral Holdings was sub-contracted to Blackwater SELECT, which was based in Karachi. Kestral is linked to former Blackwater head Erik Prince; Vision Americas, a firm run by former U.S. State Department chief for Latin American affairs, Roger Noriega, and former State Department South Asian affairs chief and CIA South Asian specialist Christina Rocca; and Firecreek Ltd., self-described as a "Washington D.C. based Advisory Firm providing its clients with International government relations, federal contracts and procurement law expertise, and strategic business development advice in the Defense, Homeland Security, Law Enforcement and Advanced Technology sectors." Firecreek's managing director is John Falk. One of Vision Americas' partners is Demoman International Ltd., a military and intelligence training firm based in Israel that has briefed members of Congress on the battle of Fallujah, Iraq.

In addition, intelligence surveillance information was tipped off to the Daily Mirror about Tory Cabinet Policy Secretary Oliver Letwin, who is closely connected to Israeli intelligence assets in London, tossing over a hundred classified and sensitive Cabinet documents in St. James Park rubbish bins for later retrieval by Israeli embassy intelligence operatives. Letwin's document dumping operations were secretly photographed and published by the Mirror. Only due to the Mirror retrieving some of Letwin's documents from the rubbish bins, does the public know about their contents: five letters from the parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee, Al Qaeda links to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, and the Dalai Lama of Tibet.

Letwin's "disposal" of documents for his Mossad handlers arose at the same time that the scandal involving the Israeli-connected Fox and Werritty had reached a crescendo. The Mirror has reported that one of the documents thrown away by Letwin involved a defense company that was under the purview of Fox.

The British media is under tremendous pressure from Israeli and Jewish interests in London not to link the Fox/Werritty and Letwin scandals because of the exposure factor for Israel. However, British intelligence is having none of it and there is an expectation that further information on Mossad's thorough penetration of the British Conservative-Liberal Democratic government, including Number 10 Downing Street, will be forthcoming.

The chairman of the parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee, Sir Malcolm Rifkind, a Tory, has defended Letwin, even though one letter "thrown away" by Letwin was addressed to Rifkind. Along with Letwin, Rifkind is a major supporter of Israel. Letwin and Rifkind are both Jewish. Letwin covered his activities by being a vocal critic of government security breaches.

British intelligence has been on the warpath with Mossad ever since the Israeli intelligence agency was implicated by MI-6 in the murder of Gareth Williams, the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) employee who was seconded to the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI-6) and whose badly decomposed body was found stuffed into a sports bag in an MI-6 safe house in the Pimlico neighborhood of London on August 23, 2010. Williams was a victim of a professional Mossad hit team. A "Mediterranean looking" young man and woman, believed to be between 20 and 30 years of age, are still suspects in Williams's death, now believed by British police to have been due to poisoning. "Mediterranean" is a politically-correct code phrase used by British police to describe the Israeli Mossad hit team. The FBI uses a similar code phrase, "Middle Eastern-looking," to describe Israeli spies in the United States. The Mossad duo was last seen entering the MI-6 residence where Williams lived in July 2010.

With an Israeli-connected homosexual duo, Fox and Werritty, being exposed and Letwin feeding rubbish bins Cabinet documents for Mossad handlers, MI-6 and MI-5 have had enough of Israeli espionage in the United Kingdom. The word is that other gay caballero Tory officials with connections to Israel are in MI-6's exposé sights -- with Foreign Secretary William Hague at the top of the list....

British intelligence sources report to us that the sudden early retirement of Britain's most powerful civil servant, Cabinet Secretary Sir Gus O'Donnell, who will receive a £2.3 million pension package, at the height of the investigation by the Cabinet Secretary into allegations that British Tory Defense Minister Dr. Liam Fox shared highly-classified information with Adam Werrity, a close friend, who may have parlayed the information into personal financial gain.

O'Donnell had been investigating the affair but his departure will now open the door for the powerful post of Cabinet Secretary to be split up into three weaker positions by Prime Minister David Cameron. Cameron's press secretary, Gabby Bertin, has now been implicated in the Fox-Werrity scandal.

Werrity holds no official government job and he lacks a security clearance for the classified information he was allegedly given access to by Fox. It is believed that Werrity may have passed classified information on to his multi-billionaire lobbying clients, former Goldman Sachs official Michael Hintze and now manager of the CQS hedge fund; hedge fund mogul Lord Stanley Fink; and real estate tycoons Simon and David Reuben.

The departure of O'Donnell, who has served four Prime Ministers -- John Major, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, and David Cameron -- during a major inquiry into scandal surrounding the Prime Minister and Defense Minister, has many in the intelligence community wondering if there is something more that is being covered up.

O'Donnell may have been able to link the Werrity scandal to past defense ministry scandals involving the illegal exports of certain restricted defense items, including nuclear material, to embargoed nations or the international black market. O'Donnell has now left the civil service with a generous retirement. One of O'Donnell's predecessors as Cabinet Secretary, Lord Butler, later chaired an inquiry board that looked into the intelligence Britain used to justify the invasion and occupation of Iraq. Not surprisingly, Butler concluded that some of the intelligence on Iraq's alleged possession of weapons of mass destruction was inconclusive but that the intelligence that Iraq was pursuing yellow cake uranium in Africa was "well-founded." The document on Iraq trying to obtain yellow cake from Niger turned out to be a crude forgery. Butler later was named a director of the banking giant HSBC.

From the Matrix Churchill scandal involving banned British military technology to Saddam Hussein to serious allegations surrounding the disposition of apartheid South Africa's nuclear weapons, successive British governments have been mired in military technology and weapons smuggling scandals. O'Donnell's hasty departure during a major inquiry indicates that the successive cover-ups of British weapons smuggling and other illegal defense deals with certain problematic regimes, including Israel and India, continue to the present day.....LOL

Gus O’Donnell’s report deliberately omitted evidence that Werritty and Fox were scheming with British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould to prepare the diplomatic ground for a military attack on Iran.....

O’Donnell listed two meetings between Fox, Werritty and Gould. But he left out a key meeting of the three, before Fox became Secretary of State for Defence, while Fox was still in opposition. The fact that the three had met before casts a whole new light on their three subsequent meetings, of which O’Donnell mentions only two.

This is what O’Donnell says of one Gould/Fox/Werritty meeting, in para 6 of his report:

This leaves a meeting between Dr Fox and Matthew Gould, the then UK Ambassador Designate to Israel in September 2010. I understand that this was a general discussion of international defense and security matters to enable Mr
Gould better to understand MOD’s perspective of the security situation in the Middle East. Mr Werritty was invited to attend as an individual with some experience in these matters. As a private citizen, however, with no official locus, it was not appropriate for Mr Werritty to have attended this meeting. Dr Fox has since acknowledged this.

It is a lie by omission for O’Donnell to leave out the fact that the three had met up before. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has refused to answer the following questions:

When and where did Gould meet Fox and Werrity while Fox was shadow Defense Secretary?
What position did Gould hold at the time?
There are very strict protocols for officials meeting and briefing opposition front bench spokesmen. Were they met?
In what capacity was Werritty there?
What was discussed and was the meeting minuted?

Mr Gould’s meeting with the Defense Secretary was arranged by his office as part of his pre-posting briefing calls. Mr Gould was not aware of likely attendance at that meeting in advance; nor does he recall the nature of any introductions made.

As noted in the Cabinet Secretary’s recent report, this was a general discussion of international defense and security matters to enable Mr Gould better to understand MoD’s perspective of the security situation in the Middle East. No classified material was discussed at this meeting.

We are not aware of any record of the meeting having been taken. This is quite normal for routine pre-posting meetings of this kind.

Mr Werritty was also present at an earlier meeting Mr Gould had with Dr Fox in the latter’s capacity as shadow Defense Secretary.

The conference which both Mr Gould and Mr Werritty attended in Israel in February this year was the latest in the series of annual Herzliya Conferences. A programme and other documents related to the conference can be found on the Herzliya Conference website. As noted in the Cabinet Secretary’s report, Mr Gould also attended a private dinner with the Defense Secretary, Mr Werritty and senior Israelis in the margins of that conference, at which there was a general discussion of international affairs.

Why were the facts in bold omitted from Gus O’Donnell’s report?

The programme is worth looking at: nobody could accuse the Herzilya conference of balance in its agenda or its participation.

But to return to the detail. The FCO is quite wrong to describe Gould’s meeting with Fox as a “routine pre-posting briefing meeting.” This is in fact another deliberate lie. Briefings for even the most senior Ambassadors on their pre-posting briefing tours are not normally at Secretary of State level. Liam Fox did not meet any other British Ambassadors to give them pre-posting briefing. And when an Ambassador does call on the Secretary of State for Defense, there would always be a private secretary in attendance in case any action points arise. Not only was there no private secretary, but I am told by an inside source this meeting was not in Fox’s office but in the MOD dining room.

Not a “routine pre-posting briefing meeting” at all then.

O’Donnell omits the Herzilya Conference but includes the dinner. Again, what O’Donnell says is quite extraordinary to any FCO insider:

6 February in Tel Aviv. This was a general discussion of international affairs over a private dinner with senior Israelis. The UK Ambassador was present.

The idea that the Secretary of State for Defense can have, together with the British Ambassador to a country, a “Private dinner” with officials of that country is just plain nonsense. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office refuse to say who the “Senior Israelis” with Fox, Gould and Werritty were. They also refuse to say who paid for that dinner.

My information is that the reason that dinner is characterized as “Private” is that it included senior Israeli military and Mossad representatives and that the subject of discussion was preparing the diplomatic ground for a military attack on Iran.

Matthew Gould is British Ambassador. He represents this country at all times and every utterance he makes on diplomatic or policy questions to an official of his host country is “official”. We are entitled to know:

Who paid for the dinner?
Which senior Israelis were at that dinner in Israel on 6 February 2011 with Gould, Fox and Werritty?
What was discussed?

O’Donnell omits the fact that Gould, Fox and Werritty were plotting from before Fox became Secretary of State. O’Donnell mentions only two of the four meetings between all three that we know about. He separates those two meetings by seven paragraphs, does not mention Gould by name at the second reference, and gives deliberately false characterizations of those meetings. This is misdirection on an epic scale.

Werritty visited Iran to meet opposition groups while Gould was serving in the Embassy there. Atlantic Bridge, the Fox-Werritty fake charity, was operating in the US when Gould was serving in the British Embassy in Washington with specific responsibility for US-Iranian relations.

Both O’Donnell and the FCO have listed only meetings at which Fox, Gould and Werritty were all three present. They have refused to say how many times Gould met Werritty without Fox, or how many telephone conversations or written or electronic communications there have been between Gould and Werritty.

I started this investigation on a tip-off. The FCO’s confirmation that Gould met Werritty and Fox while Fox was still in opposition confirms that some of what my informant says is true. An overwhelming mass of circumstantial evidence and the government’s lies, misleading statements and refusal to clarify some very simple facts, leaves me convinced that the truth has been found.

Werritty received such large amounts of Zionist lobby funding because he was, with Fox, promoting an attack on Iran – an agenda in which Matthew Gould had got himself wrapped....

The next act of Russian history is about to begin: Putin and Medvedev will pop off-stage into the Moscow green room, switch costumes, and re-emerge to play each other’s roles. Putin as president, again, Medvedev as PM. It’s the apotheosis of what has become known as ‘managed democracy’, and the ultimate triumph of the show’s writer-director, Putin’s chief ideologue and grey cardinal, Vladislav Surkov, the ‘Kremlin demiurge’. Known also as the ‘puppetmaster who privatised the Russian political system’, Surkov is the real genius of the Putin era. Understand him and you understand not only contemporary Russia but a new type of power politics, a breed of authoritarianism far subtler than the 20th-century strains.

There is something cherubic in Surkov’s soft, smooth face, something demonic in his stare. He trained as a theatre director then became a PR man; now his official role is ‘vice-head of the presidential administration’, but his influence over Russian politics is unsurpassed. He is the man behind the concept of ‘sovereign democracy’, in which democratic institutions are maintained without any democratic freedoms, the man who has turned television into a kitsch Putin-worshipping propaganda machine and launched pro-Kremlin youth groups happy to compare themselves to the Hitler Youth, to beat up foreigners and opposition journalists, and burn ‘unpatriotic’ books on Red Square. But this is only half the story.

In his spare time Surkov writes essays on conceptual art and lyrics for rock groups. He’s an aficionado of gangsta rap: there’s a picture of Tupac on his desk, next to the picture of Putin. And he is the alleged author of a bestselling novel, Almost Zero. ‘Alleged’ because the novel was published (in 2009) under the pseudonym Natan Dubovitsky – Surkov’s wife is called Natalya Dubovitskaya. Officially Surkov is the author of the preface, where he denies being the author of the novel, then makes a point of contradicting himself: ‘The author of this novel is an unoriginal Hamlet-obsessed hack’; later, ‘this is the best book I have ever read.’ In interviews he has come close to admitting to being the author while always pulling back from a complete confession. Whether or not he actually wrote every word of it he has gone out of his way to associate himself with it.

The novel is a satire of contemporary Russia whose hero, Egor, is a corrupt PR man happy to serve anyone who’ll pay the rent. A former publisher of avant-garde poetry, he now buys texts from impoverished underground writers, then sells the rights to rich bureaucrats and gangsters with artistic ambitions who publish them under their own names. The world of PR and publishing as portrayed in the novel is extremely dangerous. Publishing houses have their own gangs, whose members shoot each other over the rights to Nabokov and Pushkin, and the secret services infiltrate them for their own murky ends. It’s exactly the sort of book Surkov’s youth groups burn on Red Square.

Born in provincial Russia to a single mother, Egor grows up as a bookish hipster disenchanted with the late Soviet Union’s sham ideology. In the 1980s he moves to Moscow to hang out on the fringes of the bohemian set; in the 1990s he becomes a PR guru. It’s a background that has a lot in common with Surkov’s, the details of which were barely known until an article in Novoye Vremya earlier this year set the record straight. He was born in 1964, the son of a Russian mother and a Chechen father who left when Surkov was still a young child. Former schoolmates remember him as someone who made fun of the teacher’s pets in the Komsomol, wore velvet trousers, had long hair like Pink Floyd, wrote poetry, was a hit with the girls. He was a straight-A student whose essays on literature were read aloud by teachers in the staff room: it wasn’t only in his own eyes that he was too smart to believe in the social and political set-up around him.

In the 1980s and early 1990s Russia was experimenting with different modes at a dizzying rate: Soviet stagnation led to perestroika, which led to the collapse of the Soviet Union, liberal euphoria, then economic disaster. How to believe in anything when everything around you is changing so fast? Surkov abandoned a range of university careers from metallurgy to theatre directing, put in a spell in the army, went to bohemian parties, had regular violent altercations (he was expelled from drama school for fighting). Surkov, it said (or allegedly said) in one of the US diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks, had always thought of himself as an unrecognised genius, but it took him a while to find his metier.

He trained at a martial arts club with Mikhail Khodorkovsky, then one of Russia’s emerging young business stars. Khodorkovsky took him on as a bodyguard, saw he had more use for his brains than his muscles and promoted him to PR manager. He became known for his ability not only to think up ingenious PR campaigns but to manipulate others into getting them distributed in the major media with a mixture of charm, aggression and bribery. ‘Surkov acts like a Chekist of the 1920s and 1930s,’ Dmitry Oreshkin, a political analyst, said. ‘He can always sniff out your weak spot.’ Top jobs followed at banks and TV channels. In 1999 he was invited to join Yeltsin’s presidential administration. Looking more like a designer than a bureaucrat, he stood out from the rest. He was one of the key spin doctors behind the promotion of Putin for president in 2000. Since then, while many of his colleagues have fallen from grace, Surkov has managed to stay in the game by remaking himself to suit his masters’ needs. ‘Slava is a vessel,’ according to Boris Nemtsov, a prominent opposition politician: ‘Under Yeltsin he was a democrat, under Putin he’s an autocrat.’

At one point he began to fear that success would be his undoing: there was speculation that he had presidential ambitions, a dangerous rumour, especially in political circles, and he immediately leaked the fact of his Chechen father, which he had previously kept secret, in order to rule himself out of higher office, or so it’s said. It was his way of saying ‘I know my place.’ One of his former bosses described him as ‘a closed person, with many demons. He is never on the level with people. He needs to be either above or, if need be, below: either the boss or the slave.’

The most interesting parts of Almost Zero come when the author moves away from social satire to the inner world of his protagonist. Egor is described as a ‘vulgar Hamlet’ who can see through the superficiality of his age, but is unable to have any real feelings for anyone or anything: ‘His self was locked in a nutshell … outside were his shadows, dolls. He saw himself as almost autistic, imitating contact with the outside world, talking to others in false voices to fish out whatever he needed from the Moscow squall: books, sex, money, food, power and other useful things.’ The novel refers to Hamlet over and over again – even though Prospero might have been more apt – while the main protagonists are compared to the Players, ‘prepared to perform pastoral, tragedy or something in between’. The novelist Eduard Limonov describes Surkov himself as having ‘turned Russia into a wonderful postmodernist theatre, where he experiments with old and new political models’. There’s something in this. In contemporary Russia, unlike the old USSR or present-day North Korea, the stage is constantly changing: the country is a dictatorship in the morning, a democracy at lunch, an oligarchy by suppertime, while, backstage, oil companies are expropriated, journalists killed, billions siphoned away. Surkov is at the centre of the show, sponsoring nationalist skinheads one moment, backing human rights groups the next. It’s a strategy of power based on keeping any opposition there may be constantly confused, a ceaseless shape-shifting that is unstoppable because it’s indefinable.

This fusion of despotism and postmodernism, in which no truth is certain, is reflected in the craze among the Russian elite for neuro-linguistic programming and Eriksonian hypnosis: types of subliminal manipulation based largely on confusing your opponent, first developed in the US in the 1960s. There are countless NLP and Eriksonian training centres in Moscow, with every wannabe power-wielder shelling out thousands of dollars to learn how to be the next master manipulator. Newly translated postmodernist texts give philosophical weight to the Surkovian power model. François Lyotard, the French theoretician of postmodernism, began to be translated in Russia only towards the end of the 1990s, at exactly the time Surkov joined the government. The author of Almost Zero loves to invoke such Lyotardian concepts as the breakdown of grand cultural narratives and the fragmentation of truth: ideas that still sound quite fresh in Russia. One blogger has noted that ‘the number of references to Derrida in political discourse is growing beyond all reasonable bounds. At a recent conference the Duma deputy Ivanov quoted Derrida three times and Lacan twice.’ In an echo of socialism’s fate in the early 20th century, Russia has adopted a fashionable, supposedly liberational Western intellectual movement and transformed it into an instrument of oppression.

In Soviet times a functionary would at least nominally pretend to believe in Communism; now the head of one of Russia’s main TV channels, Vladimir Kulistikov, who used to be employed by Radio Free Europe, proudly announces that he ‘can work with any power I’m told to work with’. As long as you have shown loyalty when it counts, you are free to do anything you like after hours. Thus Moscow’s top gallery-owner advises the Kremlin on propaganda at the same time as exhibiting anti-Kremlin work in his gallery; the most fashionable film director makes a blockbuster satirising the Putin regime while joining Putin’s party; Surkov writes a novel about the corruption of the system and rock lyrics denouncing Putin’s regime – lyrics that would have had him arrested in previous times.

In Soviet Russia you would have been forced to give up any notion of artistic freedom if you wanted a slice of the pie. In today’s Russia, if you’re talented and clever, you can have both. This makes for a unique fusion of primitive feudal poses and arch, postmodern irony. A property ad displayed all over central Moscow earlier this year captured the mood perfectly. Got up in the style of a Nazi poster, it showed two Germanic-looking youths against a glorious alpine mountain over the slogan ‘Life Is Getting Better’. It would be wrong to say the ad is humorous, but it’s not quite serious either. It’s sort of both. It’s saying this is the society we live in (a dictatorship), but we’re just playing at it (we can make jokes about it), but playing in a serious way (we’re making money playing it and won’t let anyone subvert its rules). A few months ago there was a huge ‘Putin party’ at Moscow’s most glamorous club. Strippers writhed around poles chanting: ‘I want you, prime minister.’ It’s the same logic. The sucking-up to the master is completely genuine, but as we’re all liberated 21st-century people who enjoy Coen brothers films, we’ll do our sucking up with an ironic grin while acknowledging that if we were ever to cross you we would quite quickly be dead.

This is the world Surkov has created, a world of masks and poses, colourful but empty, with little at its core but power for power’s sake and the accumulation of vast wealth. The country lives by the former wannabe theatre director’s script. Surkov’s victory appears total. But it isn’t, quite. Almost Zero isn’t the only recent bestseller written by a member of the country’s political and economic elite. In January, his old friend Khodorkovsky, the jailed oil tycoon turned prominent political dissident, published a collection of his essays and interviews. Surkov and Khodorkovsky have a complicated personal history. Khodorkovsky, it’s said, never completely trusted Surkov, so when the young PR manager asked to become a full partner in his oil and banking company Khodorkovsky refused. The two fell out, and many argue that their mutual enmity was a factor in Khodorkovsky’s imprisonment. Now their two books represent the intellectual axis dividing Russia. Khodorkovsky’s essays deal mainly with his thoughts about the country’s political future. He’s become a social democrat during his time in prison, and denounces the rapacious capitalism that allowed him to make his fortune. His ideas aren’t original: what is striking is the book’s tone – calm, dignified, measured. Khodorkovsky neither attacks his jailers nor bends his knee to them, but bending his knee is what he is supposed to do.[*]

As far as the Kremlin is concerned, the ideal scenario, the one most of the other oligarchs have followed, would be for Khodorkovsky to break, beg for mercy, sign a fake confession: the old KGB strategy. He refuses to do any of this, which has made him a rallying figure for liberals. Nobody thinks he was purer in heart than any of the other billionaires of the 1990s, but his behaviour now, in the context of Surkovian conformism, is impressive. The recent trial that sentenced him to a further six years in prison saw him accused of somehow stealing his own company’s oil. On top of that, the judge announced in his closing statement that two former ministers who had given evidence supporting Khodorkovsky had actually given evidence against him. Black was turned to white, white to black. The very absurdity was the point: the Kremlin was saying it had complete control over reality and that whatever it said, however ridiculous, was the truth.

Since the Khodorkovsky trial there have been a few unexpected whelps of protest from formerly loyal subjects. First a glamorous ballerina, not known for her political bravery, resigned from the party Surkov created when her signature was included on a public document denouncing Khodorkovsky. Then the press officer at the court where Khodorkovsky was sentenced tearfully admitted that the judge had been forced to read a closing statement prepared by the Kremlin. Most recently, Mikhail Prokhorov, most famous of the as yet unjailed oligarchs, denounced Surkov as a ‘puppetmaster’, since when Prokhorov has been stripped of his membership of the President’s Commission for Modernisation. The photograph of Khodorkovsky staring out from behind prison bars on the cover of his Collected Essays has changed its meaning. When he was arrested in 2003 it was this image that announced Putin’s pre-eminence, taming the powerful oligarchs overnight. ‘You’re only a photograph away from the cover of Forbes to a jail cell,’ the picture said, and it would have been Surkov’s business to make sure the image was distributed as widely as possible. Eight years later, Khodorkovsky is still behind bars, but the image now says something more like: ‘While I am behind bars, then all of Russia is a prison.’

In a neat instance of calling black white, the Surkov-controlled media refer to liberal supporters of Khodorkovsky as the ‘demoshiza’ (short for ‘democratic schizophrenics’), when it is the Surkovian ideology that is, in the vulgar sense, schizophrenic: it’s Khodorkovsky’s supporters who demand consistency. The ‘demoshiza’ tag also serves a useful purpose in conflating ‘democracy’ with ‘mental illness’. The word ‘democratic’ has an unhappy status in Russia: it is mainly used as an uncomplimentary synonym for ‘cheap’ and ‘low-grade’: McDonald’s has ‘democratic’ prices, the door policy at a particularly scuzzy club can be described as ‘democratic’ – i.e. they let anybody in. A few restaurants are proud of their ‘democratic’ tags: run by the children of former Soviet dissidents, they are places where the town’s liberal artists, filmmakers, journalists and other ‘demoshiza’ smoke, drink, eat and prance all night.

I found myself in one of them late one night, having finally, after a month of phone calls, begging, blackmailing and pleading, managed to get a ticket to see the theatre version of Almost Zero, the most exclusive play this deeply theatrical city has ever seen. Official tickets started at $500. Black market tickets were going for four figures. The final price? Two bottles of champagne and the opportunity for one of the theatre’s leading actresses to use my parents’ London home rent-free. It turned out that the fee wasn’t even worth a proper seat. The ushers let me in after the lights were dimmed. They gave me a cushion and told me to sit on the floor by the front row. My head spent the night knocking against the perfumed thigh of an impossibly perfect model, her brutal-looking husband seeming none too pleased. The audience was full of these types: the hard, clever men who rule the country and their stunning female satellites. You don’t usually find them at the theatre but they were there because it was the thing to do: if they ever bumped into Surkov they could tell him how much they liked his fascinating piece. The other half of the audience were the city’s artistic leaders: impresarios, directors, actors. They had a similar reason to be present: Surkov is famous for giving grants to theatres and festivals. It wouldn’t do not to have seen the play.

‘I would never go to something like that,’ a well-known journalist told me in the ‘democratic’ bar. ‘I wouldn’t want to touch anything Surkov is part of. And what about that shit Serebrennikov? Who’d have thought he’d sink to something so low? Sucking up to the Kremlin that way.’ Serebrennikov is the play’s director. He is famous for staging scandalous, subversive pieces and for always wearing sunglasses. Many think him a genius. His collaboration with Surkov is the equivalent of Brecht putting on a play by Goebbels. There are those in Moscow who will never forgive such a partnership. But Serebrennikov has found a crafty way through this most delicate situation. His staging of Almost Zero has transformed the novel. His Egor is a Faustian hero who has sold his soul to the devil but now wants it back. His shiny, empty life, with its parties, easy sex and casual humiliations, is a living hell. This Egor is emotional and wracked with self-loathing, quite the opposite of the cold hero of the novel. In passages that were added in, Serebrennikov’s actors talk straight at the audience, accusing it of being at ease in a world of nepotism, corruption and violence. The bohemians in the audience laughed uncomfortably. The hard men and their satellites stared ahead unblinking, as if these provocations had nothing to do with them. Many left at the interval. Thus the great director pulled off a feat entirely worthy of the Age of Surkov: he pleased his political masters – Surkov sponsors an arts festival that Serebrennikov runs – while preserving his liberal integrity. One foot in Surkov’s camp, the other in Khodorkovsky’s. A fine performance.

‘Life in Russia,’ the journalist told me in the democratic bar, ‘has got better but leaves a shitty aftertaste.’ We had a drink. ‘Have you noticed that Surkov never seems to get older? His face has no wrinkles.’ We had more drinks. We talked about Surkov’s obsession with Hamlet. My companion recalled an interpretation of the play suggested by a literature professor turned rock producer (a very Moscow trajectory).

‘Who’s the central figure in Hamlet?’ she asked. ‘Who’s the demiurge manipulating the whole situation?’

I said I didn’t know.

‘It’s Fortinbras, the crown prince of Norway, who takes over Denmark at the end. Horatio and the visiting players are in his employ: their mission is to tip Hamlet over the edge and foment conflict in Elsinore. Look at the play again. Hamlet’s father killed Fortinbras’s father, he has every motive for revenge. We know Hamlet’s father was a bad king, we’re told both Horatio and the players have been away for years: essentially they left to get away from Hamlet the father. Could they have been with Fortinbras in Norway? At the end of the play Horatio talks to Fortinbras like a spy delivering his end-of-mission report. Knowing young Hamlet’s unstable nature they hired the players to provoke him into a series of actions that will bring down Elsinore’s rulers. This is why everyone can see the ghost at the start. Then when only Hamlet sees him later he is hallucinating. To Muscovites it’s obvious. We’re so much closer to Shakespeare’s world here.’ On the map of civilisation, Moscow – with its cloak and dagger politics (designer cloak, diamond-studded dagger), its poisoned spies, baron-bureaucrats and exiled oligarchs who plan revolutions from abroad, its Cecil-Surkovs whispering into the ears of power, its Raleigh-Khodorkovskys imprisoned in the Tower – is somewhere near Elsinore....

Ils pouvaient espionner l'internet de Libye. Et ils en ont fait la démonstration. En 2007, la société française Amesys, filiale du groupe Bull, a vendu un impressionnant matériel électronique d'espionnage au régime Kadhafi par l'intermédiaire de l'incontournable Ziad Takieddine. L'opération, dont certains détails ont été classifiés « confidentiel défense », a permis à la société française de roder ses produits, commercialisés depuis sous le nom de programme "Eagle". Elle a aussi permis à l'homme d'affaires, qui réclame ces jours-ci d'être reçu à l'Elysée, de recevoir au moins 4,5 millions d'euros de commissions occultes, comme Mediapart l'avait révélé fin juille t.

Dans les équipes de la société Amesys,

Le pays pour lequel on travaillait avait reçu pour nom de code « le pays de Candy »,célèbre série animée qui met en scène une orpheline... Tous les voyages de la direction de Bull en Libye, notamment de l'actuel PDG de Bull, Philippe Vannier, étaient planifiés et organisés par Ziad Takieddine.

Dans un document conservé par le marchand d'armes, la société Amesys (ex-i2e) a détaillé pour les autorités libyennes, fin 2006, l'étendue de ses capacités d'interception de mail, chat, ou de conversations via le net.

Pour prouver son efficacité, Amesys a fait figurer dans son offre technique aux Libyens des traces de tests d'interceptions de mails au sein d'un laboratoire de l'université Pierre et Marie-Curie (Paris-VI), le Lip6-CNRS.

On y découvre des échanges personnels entre profs, chercheurs et thésards, des traces d'échange MSN et des pages d'interrogations Google (voir document ci-dessous). Un échantillon d'espionnage qui a surpris et scandalisé les enseignants contactés par Mediapart. Le Lip 6 spécialisé dans l'étude des réseaux avait cédé des brevets à la société Qosmos, elle-même sous-traitante d'Amesys jusqu'en 2008.

« Quelqu'un a placé une sonde sur le tuyau de sortie du laboratoire, a commenté un professeur de Paris-X. Il s'agit une intrusion physique. » « C'est hallucinant, s'indigne un ancien thésard du Lip 6 aujourd'hui enseignant à Paris-XIII.Ils ont intercepté tout ce qui rentre et ce qui sort du Lip 6. Ils ont intercepté mes mails, et c'est interdit. » Qosmos aurait donc testé secrètement ses sondes sur ce laboratoire. Mais personne ne s'explique que ces traces aient pu figurer sur un document communiqué par Amesys à la dictature libyenne.

Vendu 12,5 millions d'euros, en 2007, le projet de surveillance des internautes libyens s'intitule NSA (« Network Stream Analyser ») et s'intègre dans un vaste programme de sécurité (« Homeland Security Program ») qui bénéficie du soutien actif du ministre français de l'intérieur d'alors, Nicolas Sarkozy. Il inclut notamment la livraison d'un 4×4 furtif, dont Mediapart s'est déjà fait l'écho.

Amesys tente d'étouffer le scandale

Son architecture, détaillée par Amesys, repose sur l'installation d'une sonde « renifleuse » à l'entrée du réseau national et la mise en place d'un centre de stockage et d'interrogation du trafic. « Les données ne sont pas filtrées mais stockées en totalité », explique Amesys. Les flux sont« reconstitués » après avoir été « ciblés » à partir de mots-clés – jusqu'à 5.000 mots.

Des journalistes du Wall Street Journal et de la BBC ont retrouvé ce centre d'écoutes après la chute de Tripoli – y compris des affiches au nom de la société française –, et le site Owni a dévoilé un manuel d'opérateur du système« Eagle », l'appellation définitive du système d'espionnage vendu à la Libye.

Mais le groupe Bull a soutenu que « le contrat concernait la mise à disposition du matériel d'analyse portant sur une fraction de connexions internet existantes, soit quelques milliers». Et qu'il « n'opère aucun centre d'écoute téléphonique ni internet à aucun point du globe ».

Le scandale devient dangereux pour Amesys. Face aux révélations de l'affaire Takieddine et aux informations publiées à la faveur de la chute du régime libyen, la direction a donc décidé d'envoyer des lettres recommandées à ses anciens salariés pour leur demander par avance de se taire. En n'hésitant pas à les soupçonner ouvertement d'avoir contribué aux fuites.

«Il a été porté à notre connaissance que des informations techniques, fonctionnelles et commerciales que vous avez eu à connaître dans le cadre de vos fonctions, avaient été diffusées à des tiers, notamment certains médias, écrit Nicolas Poiré, le DRH d'Amesys. Cette information cause à notre entreprise un préjudice d'image et commercial considérable dont nous entendons obtenir réparation.»

Dans ce courrier, Amesys annonce qu'il enquête sur ses salariés et leur promet donc des suites judiciaires : «Dans l'attente de la finalisation des investigations actuellement en cours, lesquelles devraient permettre d'identifier les collaborateurs ou anciens collaborateurs à l'origine de ces manquements, nous ne pouvons que vous inviter à respecter strictement vos obligations.»

La direction de la société française oublie de signaler que tous les développements de l'affaire Takieddine sont entre les mains de la justice. Et que les commissions occultes versées illégalement par la filiale de Bull au marchand d'armes devraient, elles aussi, faire l'objet d'investigations.
